No, God is not a Marine. However, he does have a special place in his heart for Marines.

Yes, the evidence is growing...the Army has a song, the Navy has a song, the Air Force has a song, but the Marine Corps has a .......Hymn!

A long "His"story have the Hiz's "Hers" ...

One can take it straight ....

1261

from WWII;

or a bit twisted (but a remarkable resemblence carried over 125 years) ....

1262

from the War of 1812 and the rigging of the USS Constitution, "Lucy Brewer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_Brewer)".

Ken White, in one of his iterations, chaired "Lucy's" promotion board.

In his later (and present) iteration, Ken in the later 1940s perceived the first poster (and the Corps) as a solution for his teen-aged dating problems - the Corps obviously being filled with attractive women dedicated to the "Fighting Marines". His delusions soon ended. :D

follows the Book as dictated by The Commandant.

And so, a "him" deemed Faithful and True; and a "her" deemed Faithful and True (that darned Lucy taking charge again):

1263

and two more = 4 Horsemen (no better friends; no worse enemies).

The Four Horsepersons of the Apocalypse - OMG, how politically incorrect I was in uttering "4 Horsemen" - have any MAGTF (macro down to micro) beat all to hell - pestilence, war, famine, and death, all in one package.

Still, Rifleman has a point re: hermeneutics and Hermeneutics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermeneutics). But, what is a bit of adaptation, improvisation and overcoming - all among friends.

Then on the 7th day, while God rested, we over-ran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we've been running the show ever since.

We live like soldiers and talk like sailors and slap the Hell out of both of them.

tell me true -

by this:

Genesis, Chapter 6

1 When men began to multiply on earth and daughters were born to them,
2 the sons of heaven saw how beautiful the daughters of man were, and so they took for their wives as many of them as they chose.
3 Then the LORD said: "My spirit shall not remain in man forever, since he is but flesh. His days shall comprise one hundred and twenty years."
4 At that time the Nephilim appeared on earth (as well as later), after the sons of heaven had intercourse with the daughters of man, who bore them sons. They were the heroes of old, the men of renown.

did the mutinous heavenly Marines populate the Globe with little Marines;

or is the foul rumor of the cross product of Marine and gorilla -

to you true ?

I created the Marines in the image of myself, perfect, and they went out and comiited a sim by reproducing with gorillas. But, they were not alone. The Army fornicated with orangutans, the Air Force fornicated with chimpanzees, and the Navy scre..., uh, fornicated with baboons.

engineered by the Coast Guard JAG, or I'll have to lose my faith in "God".

Everyone knows that chimpanzees are ground pounders and orangutans fly through the air.

Though come to think of it, so do Airborne and AirCav.

In truth, the systematic theology is far too deep for me.

Regards to all who contributed to this nonsense.

My silly children, of course I'm a Marine.

SWC God, I served with God, I knew God, God was a friend of mine. SWC God, you're no God. But back on topic, God is not a Marine but all the guards up here are and next to Christmas the biggest shindig is on 10 November each year. Captain Samuel Nicholas though, is quite tired of his eternal role as the oldest Marine at the Ball.

It has come to my attention that I may have insulted some members - I apologize. My posts were only meant to be humorous.

As I mentioned before Marines and gorillas had a connection. How did this happen. Well, the Marine was sold into slavery by his brothers because his dress blue coat was so beautiful. In his new land he proved himself worthy and became a powerful person, but was not allowed to reproduce with the local women. That left him few options, really one option, a female gorilla. No one asked and he did not tell. The Marine and gorilla had children - twins named GI and Zoomie and soon after a child named Swabbie.

GI and Zoomie were tight and often played Swabbie in backyard football games. As GI and Zoomie grew older, Zoomie wanted more independence from his brother. Telling his brother that he had lofty goals and wanted to aim high to which his brother responded that he could not because they were an army of one. But to no avail, Zoomie moved to Colorado where he met a woman and had numerous airmen.

GI was lost for a short time, going through five pentomic relationships, but eventually found his mate who is built like a modular brick house. They seem to be happy and have a lot of tired soldiers running around.

Swabbie, well he was kept around by his dad the Marine who needed a driver or specifically someone to drive his land yacht. Swabbie soon bored of this went out on his own where he met a mermaid and they have a whole family of sailors:)

Yo - I know you're busy and all, but I'm still waiting on those cheerleaders I asked for back before Christmas 1981.

PS - don't foist it off on the J4, all the NSNs were double-checked.
