Assuming your talking about 1917 and not 1905, there are many good ones. Most don't simply deal with the revolution itself though. Here are a couple that I've read:

Carr, History of Soviet Russia Volume 1 (http://www.amazon.com/Bolshevik-Revolution-1917-1923-History-Soviet/dp/0393301958/ref=pd_sim_b_13)

Anything by Ulam, especially this one.
Richard Pipes book I haven't read (http://www.amazon.com/Russian-Revolution-Richard-Pipes/dp/0679736603/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1294150930&sr=1-1-fkmr0), but have heard it's good.

Massie wrote a couple of very good books from the perspective of the Romanov's: Nicholas and Alexandra, and The Romanovs: The Final Chapter. I haver read parts of Riasanovsky's A History of Russia, but not the portion concerning the Revolution.

Both of the Massie books are page-turners.

There is one other title that escapes me; I must have loaned to someone for it isn't on my shelves.

Yes 1917 revolution is the time frame I am looking for. Thanks for the recommendations.
