This is my first post in this forum and first of all I would like to thank the Forum admin and all the members for this place and its very very high level.

I'm sorry for my poor english but I'm sure that you will be so kind not to embarass me ! I'm 39, from Italy and I'm an appassionate "part time" student of history of warfare and military operations. My first hand experience of military world dates back at mid '90 when I served as second lieutenant during my military service in Italian Army. I have written an introductory article about 4GW published in an Italian Webzine www.paginedidifesa.it and I'm studying for another article about transnational insurgencies.

Now my question: where can I find online docs about south american insurgency in the 60/70/80 from Cuba to the Contras passsing through Che Guevara (a latin Zarqawi??) and El Salvador and relative counterinsurgency american strategy and and actions (Condor operation - COIN ecc...)?

Thanks in advance

US Army's Foreign Military Studies Office - FMSO's Latin America (http://fmso.leavenworth.army.mil/products.htm#latam) section.

Several documents in our SWJ Library - El Salvador (http://smallwarsjournal.com/reference/elsalvador.php) and Colombia (http://smallwarsjournal.com/reference/colombia.php)
