The online publication, called “Palestine-Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience Al-Malahem” and put out by the media arm of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP, calls for Muslims around the world to follow “the recipe” provided to set off car bombs in crowded venues. It includes a timeline of "selected jihadi operations" that the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), which first flagged the slickly-produced latest edition of the terror publication, finds chilling.

“The timeline concludes with the date 201?’ and blank spaces and question marks for the photo and information of the next attack -- implying that it is coming soon.” said MEMRI Executive Director Steve Stalinsky.

There is a suggested list of targets for lone-wolf, or individually executed, terror attacks, including New York's Times Square, casinos and night clubs in Las Vegas, oil tankers and trains, the Georgia Military College, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and General Atomics defense contractor in San Diego.

Also, 'Laptop of Doom' would be a good name for a band.

Buried in a Dell computer captured in Syria are lessons for making bubonic plague bombs and missives on using weapons of mass destruction.

The UK has officially and publicly increased the threat level to 'Severe' from 'Substantial':
...in response to conflicts in Iraq and Syria, Home Secretary Theresa May says. The new alert level rates the risk of an attack on the UK "highly likely", although Mrs May said there was no evidence to suggest one was "imminent".

In America, we've raised it to "Quentin Tarantino Plot".

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Media pundits generating mass hysteria to generate viewership and promote their political propaganda. Fox News has degenerated to the level of MSNBC news. If I was in ISIS I would start thinking I'm 10 feet tall.

Washington (AFP) - Several hundred US citizens may have had contact with Islamic State jihadists in Syria, the chairman of the powerful House Intelligence Committee said Sunday. Republican lawmaker Mike Rogers, a former FBI agent, told "Fox News Sunday" he was concerned about efforts to keep track of Americans who had links to the group. "It's in the hundreds that have at least one time traveled, participated and trained with them," Rogers said.

An Army intelligence bulletin is warning U.S. military personnel to be vigilant after Islamic State militants called on supporters to scour social media for addresses of their family members – and to “show up [at their homes] and slaughter them."

The assessment, obtained by Fox News, came from the Army Threat Integration Center which issues early warnings of criminal and terrorist threats to Army posts worldwide.

The advisory warns military personnel and their families about the Islamic State, or ISIS, calling on supporters to target their homes.

WASHINGTON (AP) — An al-Qaida cell in Syria that was targeted in American military airstrikes last month could still be working on a plan to attack the United States or its allies and is "looking to do it very, very soon," the head of the FBI says. "Given our visibility we know they're serious people, bent on destruction," FBI Director James Comey said.

New York (AFP) - The United States faces an increasing number of homegrown violent extremists radicalized online and inspired by jihadists in Syria to carry out acts of violence, the FBI warned Monday.
Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey said the danger was witnessed "in a very real way" by attacks that killed two soldiers in Canada in recent weeks.

From the beginning of December -

The FBI and Department of Homeland Defense issued an advisory Sunday warning military members and people connected with the military to be careful about what they post online so as not to attract extremist, ISIS-inspired attacks.

Senior government officials said ISIS has been consistent in trying to inspire "home-grown" attacks, but said the warning is not connected to any specific or new threat.

ISIS' endorsements of alleged attacks against military, law enforcement and government personnel have the potential to "embolden some violent extremists," the advisory said. The bulletin specifically warned current and former military personnel and those connected with people in the military to "review their online social media accounts for any information that might serve to attract the attention of violent extremists, and routinely exercise operational security in their interactions online."
