Multiple sources close to the intelligence, justice and law enforcement communities say that the House Judiciary Committee is considering Articles of Impeachment against the President of the United States.
Sources say that Donald Trump has been informed. A notification that ‘a case of impeachment’ had been commenced against him was delivered, abating his Presidential powers of pardon.
Sources further say that the Supreme Court notified Mr. Trump that the formal process of a case of impeachment against him was begun, before he departed the country on Air Force One. The notification was given in order that Mr. Trump not be able to use his powers of pardon against other suspects in Trump-Russia cases.
It was reported this week that Mr. Trump had texted Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn the message ‘Stay strong’. This might be interpreted as an attempt to intimidate a witness, sources say.
Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein met with the House Judiciary Committee this week in closed session.

BUT most of all UNDERSTAND your own personal biases ..........and then learn to turn them off when looking at the world...

Biases tend to color our view of what we are seeing and trying to understand....and they do not allow one to fully "see and understand"....

Bill..you are getting into an area that you do not know my experience...Offensive CI investigations and interrogations....AND THUS my personal opinions.......

Part of the work of a Strategic Debriefer (JAROC-B) in Cold War Berlin was the fishing out of all refugees low and mid level MfS Stasi agents and or "IM" informal agents who would be tasked if and when Stasi needed them...

In the entire CI investigations conducted in Berlin by the US military there were only two US civilians in Berlin Bde allowed to interact with the German authorities for name checks and background information checks...... myself and a retired SF SGM....

Day after day I did this for years...AND when I shifted to 766th MID the premier Berlin active duty offensive CI unit I and one other retired SF SGM were responsible for all German police checks and we were tasked with all TS/SCI clearance reviews for the Det A, PSSE and all members of the Potsdam MLM and the Army Security Agency who worked primarily with NSA on Tuefelsberg.

During that period of my life I uncovered roughly 55 low and mid level Stasi IMs during the refugee process and handled three top level Polish SP/Spetsnaz agents who had decided after being caught in their stories with me to "remain in the West" and I handled a number of GDR Border Command soldiers who crossed over the border.

During that period I and the other retired SF CI investigator also sent home four SF PSSE for prior problems we discovered in their TS clearances that had not be picked up by SF at Bragg, and we rejected TS clearances for three ASA COLs and sent them home because while we could not prove espionage we could prove money laundering and smuggling and collusion with a Soviet GRU COL...

Here is a tip when US military personnel start to amass a large collection of valuable stamps, historical model trains and or rare coins...pay extremely close attention.

During that period I was one of only three US personnel allowed to train with the German Military Intelligence MAD and the second one was the retired SF SGM as well ...requirement was fluent German and a solid background in intel....

After that training series we became rabbits/trainers for CIA types heading to Moscow as part of their train up prior to deployment....

During that period we broke up in a GRU recruitment attempt run by the highest Soviet GRU officer working out of the Soviet East Berlin Embassy, handled the CI investigation of a 766th SFC CI agent who definitely was working for the Soviets.

I detected and had arrested a Soviet mole working out of Portugal who was selling ASA and Potsdam MLM and PSSE life insurance who had left Berlin for UK in 1931...when even the 766th doubted the information.

So heck yes I have a personal grudge against Americans who have turned against their own country mainly these days for money....

When the "CI intel indicators" are there you follow them...and follow them hard and heavy...

BTW we are in this mess because after the Wall came down the CI efforts by the US simply disappeared over night.....

Right now I count a total of 15 individuals who have been either tied to Russian officials suspects of being agents and or have tie business money ties to Russian oligarchs....all in and around Trump to include Trump....

So when he constantly repeats he has had no Russian business ties then what the heck is 120M USDs doing flowing in from Russia for Trump real estate..the most favorite way for Russian oligarchs to money launder and what are his sons doing stating the entire Trump golf empire is built largely on Russian oligarch investments....

So if I sound harsh, or political, or aggressive I keep remembering a oath I took every time I was promoted as a CWO..."to defend the Constitution from domestic and foreign threats"....and it was the same oath as a civil servant....

Appears though that many around the Trump WH and Trump himself do not hold that oath to a "certain standard".

BTW I will give you a history lesson....

When some of us recovered the entire MfS Stasi records for their foreign espionage operations and shipped them back to the US for research a number of US citizens were then charged quietly with espionage...another potential 100 US citizens were estimated to have been working for the Stasi but there was not enough of a paper trail to ID them and they are still there....

As to the dubious sources ......right now social media has in fact broken far more around the Trump Russian connection than has MSM....

1. first ID'd the existence of a FISA warrant being issued when no one was talking about it and then ID'd the additional FISA warrants when MSM laughed about it
2. first ID'd the existence of THREE Grand Juries working on the Trump investigation which has been verified by DoJ and the Congressional public hearings and now MSM
3. first broke to the story actually minutes before the acutal FBI raid on a GOP Consulting company with ties to Russian money and Manafort...MSM took two days to report it...they even named the FBI location from where the raid started
4. first broke the story that Muller was already at work minutes after Comey was fired by Trump
5. broke the story that 12 are under sealed indictments and another 42 are potentially as well....BTW indirectly confirmed by MSM.
6. first broke the names of the Federal Districts handling the three Grand Juries which now have been covered by MSM

So yes I am fully aware of my personal beliefs....but when it comes to Americans working for the Soviets and or Russia my deep CI experiences kick in and my ears go up....simply because for money they are willing to sell you and me out.....right now those being looked at by FBI/USG IC have been involved in millions of USDs.....not the usual 3K that GRU or SVR first offers a low level American.....

When the FBI/USG IC investigation dust settles on Trump and his advisors then we can revisit this comment....and see if I was right and or wrong....

Remember even the DoJ briefings to Congress are indicating 1) Russian collusion, 2) criminal meaning money laundering/RICO, 3) cover up

AND that is not me saying this.....

BTW..check your CI history...myself and the retired SF SGM during a number of bring ups we conducted on a ASA CWO James Hall who worked at Tuefelsberg...we tried hard to get the intel community interested in the fact that he had way to much money for his rank and salary and made a number of trips as a "military tourist" into East Berlin.....and then disappeared for periods of time from the military tour group....

BUT no one paid attention to our arguments and what we had found.....for me a personal failure because we could not get anyone interested....and we knew we had solid information.


The case against Hall apparently began based on a tip from Manfred Severin (code-named Canna Clay), a Stasi instructor who acted as a translator and courier for James Hall. Rejected by the German Staatschutz and the CIA, Army Foreign Counterintelligence (FCA) eventually sponsored him because he had a big tip about James Hall. After James Hall was apprehended, Severin was exfiltrated to the West with his family.[5]

After his arrest, Hall said there were many indicators visible to those around him that he was involved in questionable activity. Hall's activities inflicted grave damage on U.S. signals intelligence and he is considered the "perpetrator of one of the most costly and damaging breaches of security of the long Cold War"[6]

Hall confessed to giving his handlers information on the US Military Liaison Mission (USMLM)'s tank photography on New Year's Eve in 1984.[7] On March 24, 1985, while on an illegal inspection tour of Soviet military facilities in Ludwigslust, German Democratic Republic, US Army Major Arthur D. Nicholson, Jr., an unarmed member of the USMLM, was shot to death by a Soviet sentry.that said no to us had shown some faith in

NOTE Nicholson had photographed the very first T80 seen in GDR and was going back the second time....so Hall was also responsible for killing an US officer...the USG could have stopped this and his spying far earlier had those in power had a little more faith in our information .......and our track record....

The document appears to be incomplete, but it has guidelines for how to add to it. It also makes a point of attempting to identify the religious affiliation and sexual orientations of people listed.

It also comes with instructions on how to find and compile information on people. The process is called doxing.

BuzzFeed News was able to trace the origin of the document back to three threads on 4chan's /pol/ message board from April.

The 4chan threads are no longer live, but they are archived. It also appears that Twitter users tweeted out links to the threads while they were live.

The process 4chan users now have for identifying, doxing, and harassing activists they don't agree with became much more sophisticated following Shia LaBeouf's "He Will Not Divide Us" livestream.


Discord is essentially Slack, but for gamers. It also has audio functionality. The Centipede Central server was created by members of the /r/The_Donald subreddit. Trump supporters refer to themselves as centipedes, which is a reference to a YouTube series called “Can’t Stump The Trump" that mashed up footage of President Trump in a Republican debate with audio from a nature documentary about a centipede killing a tarantula.
The Discord server has close to 2,000 active users. BuzzFeed News has reached out to kanuke7 for comment.
The document posted by kanuke7 has since been removed, but according to a copy of it obtained by BuzzFeed News, it contains the names, addresses, phone numbers, and links to the social media accounts of thousands of people.

Trump asks Comey if he can now end the Flynn investigation after he was fired and now this confirmation....that he approached both the Directors of National Intelligence and NSA to issue statements to push back on the FBI investigation of his possible ties to Russia....in March.

Multiple sources with links to the intelligence and law enforcement communities say that Lt. Gen Mike Flynn has turned on Donald Trump, and has already had at least one lengthy interview with the FBI.
General Flynn has not been offered a deal as of yet, these sources say. They indicate that as of this writing Flynn has not been arrested. He would likely be offered a chance to surrender himself, sources report, when that time comes.
Sources with links to the Justice Department indicate that General Flynn has already been indicted. On Twitter, Claude Taylor exclusively reported#on May 14th that an indictment against Flynn had been returned by a Grand Jury and that this indictment was sealed. I can further report that Flynn’s indictment is thought to be for#his failure to register under FARA, the Foreign Agents’ Registration Act, for his lobbying#for Turkey. Reporting by NBC of Grand Jury subpoenas in an investigation for which Flynn is the subject, sources say, cover separate offenses of Mike Flynn’s that are linked to Russia. These are being investigated under prosecutors at the Northern District of Virginia, with an attorney accustomed to handling espionage prosecutions.
Sources believe that General Mike “Misha” Flynn, to give him the Russian nickname he awarded himself when picked up by British intelligence committing treason in Cambridge, England, panicked when he heard that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had been appointed to head the investigation into Trump’s collusion with Russia.

Multiple sources confirm that Pamela Talkin, Marshal of the Supreme Court, was dispatched to the White House by Chief Justice Roberts last Friday. The decision to send her was taken, sources say, when White House Counsel, Don McGahn, did not release Rudy Giuliani’s ‘Muslim memo’, despite an order of the court to do so by that date.

The White House failed to meet the May 19th deadline to hand over the Giuliani memo, violating this order. The order states, among other things:

Violating a court order is colloquially called ‘Contempt of Court’ and this matter falls within the standards of impeachment for a President under the constitution.

The Trump Administration had not filed a motion of leave, or availed themselves of any legal mechanism to deny the order to provide the Guiliani memo by the 19th of May.

Chief Justice Roberts was concerned about both the preservation of evidence and Trump’s disregard for legal orders of the courts. He sent Marshal Talkin to the White House on Friday night, in order to tell Donald Trump that he was ordered to keep and preserve all evidence relating to this matter. Marshal Talkin was told by White House staff – brusquely, sources say – that she was too late to deliver the message to Mr. Trump; he had already left for his first trip overseas.

Marshal Talkin was not deterred. Sources report#she ordered her escort to drive her straight to Andrews Air Force base. She met Trump on the tarmac, and delivered the message of the Chief Justice.

Multiple sources, from law enforcement, to those linked to the intelligence community, sources linked to the military, and those linked to various different parts of the Justice Department and of the judicial system, report that Marshal Talkin informed Trump that if he were not to preserve and protect evidence, in line with orders of the courts, it would constitute a further impeachable offense; that is to say, a separate impeachable offense, additional to the case of impeachment which has already legally begun against him.

This SC action was taken due to the Federal Courts handling the Muslim Ban hearings all actually accusing the WH of "Contempt of Federal Court"....

That only makes sense if you plan on being President, as long as you don't interfere with the siting President's role. Reagan's team met with Iranian officials before Reagan became President. Washington (CNN)When President Donald Trump lectured NATO members on their contributions to the trans-Atlantic alliance, he demonstrated a lack of understanding about how the group works and potentially alienated the US' closest allies, analysts said.
The speech comes at a time when Washington's longstanding partnerships with the UK and Israel have endured friction over intelligence gaffes by the new administration.
"Diplomatically, the speech was inept at best and deliberately insulting at worst," said Jeff Rathke, deputy director of the Europe Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Trump's remarks Thursday, alongside his continued misrepresentation of how the alliance works and his failure to reaffirm US commitment to the group, is likely to further unsettle US allies, sowing doubt about US leadership and possibly making it harder for NATO leaders to convince their people of the need to spend more on defense.
Ivo Daalder, a former US ambassador to NATO, said that "this was a perfectly scripted event to deliver a very simple message that every president of the United States has delivered at the first possible opportunity, which is that the United States stands firmly behind its commitment to the defense of NATO."
"We signed a treaty, we uphold it. It was really easy," Daalder said. "And the fact that he didn't do it was disturbing and will take a long time to overcome in Europe."
Trump was making his first visit to the alliance in Brussels, where leaders had carefully scripted his visit, unveiling a memorial to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to mark the only time NATO has invoked Article 5, which holds that all members will defend any one of them that's attacked.
The NATO-led alliance that came to the United States' aid in Afghanistan and Iraq sent more than 3,000 soldiers home in body bags.
A damaging first
Against this backdrop, the President accused NATO allies of shortchanging US taxpayers by not meeting the shared target of spending 2% of GDP on defense -- a misunderstanding of how the funding system works.
Trump also scored a damaging first, according to Nick Burns, a former US ambassador to NATO under President George W. Bush, by becoming the first president since the group's founding to fail to reaffirm the US commitment to collective defense, the principle that glues the alliance together.
"This is the first president since 1949 not to mention Article 5," Burns said. "Every president has reaffirmed collective defense and today was the day for him to do it."Burns said he was "stunned" by the speech. "It was really disappointing," he said. "I support him on asking allies to spend more on defense. But there is a time and a place. And this wasn't it. The lecture was the wrong tone and this was the wrong time."
It could also damage the US leadership position in NATO, said Burns. The other nations "were looking for a tight embrace and they didn't get it," Burns said. "NATO looks for the US president to lead the alliance... (Trump) doesn't understand that. People now think of Angela Merkel as the leader of the West."NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at his closing news conference after the summit defended Trump's message, which he admitted was "blunt."
Asked if he was disappointed that Trump didn't explictly express support for Article 5, he said just by dedicating the 9/11 and Article 5 display he was doing that.
Stoltenberg said there has been a clear message of support for NATO from the President, as well as Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense James Mattis. Tillerson and Mattis have also recently delivered tough public messages on the need for NATO members to increase defense spending.

“[Trump] said they’re very bad on trade,” he said in Sicily, Italy, according to Bloomberg. “He said, ‘I don’t have a problem [with] Germany. I have a problem with German trade.’”

NOTE this is not being confirmed by the EU what was stated above is in fact what was actually stated by Trump....

Der Spiegel on Thursday reported that Trump voiced significant displeasure over Germany’s trade surplus during a meeting with European Union leaders in Brussels that day.

“The Germans are bad, very bad,” he said, according to meeting participants. “See the millions of cars they are selling to the U.S. Terrible. We will stop this.”
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker reportedly defended Germany, arguing that free trade benefits everyone.
Meeting participants told Der Spiegel that Juncker remained uncompromising on his point during the roughly hour-long meeting.
Trump initially met with Juncker and European Council President Donald Tusk, Der Spiegel reported, before others including the European Parliament’s president and the EU’s chief diplomat joined later.
The president has repeatedly criticized global trade deals, arguing that they favor foreign nations at the expense of U.S. workers.
Trump also voiced frustration with Germany’s trade surplus during his 2016 presidential bid, vowing to slap punitive tariffs on German automobiles during an interview with Bild.
“I would tell BMW if they think they’re gonna build a plant in Mexico and sell cars in the U.S. without a 35 percent tax, it’s not gonna happen,” he told the German publication before his January inauguration. “It’s not gonna happen."



During a meeting with top leaders of the European Union, President Donald Trump said“the Germans are bad, very bad,” according to participants in the room who spoke to German weekly news magazine Der Spiegel.
Trump’s specific criticism was that Germany’s auto industry exported cars. “See the millions of cars they are selling in the U.S. Terrible,” Der Spiegel reports he said. “We will stop this.”
In January, Trump threatened to slap a 35 percent tax on German auto imports.#“If you want to build cars in the world, then I wish you all the best. You can build cars for the United States, but for every car that comes to the USA, you will pay 35 percent tax,” he said. “I would tell BMW that if you are building a factory in Mexico and plan to sell cars to the USA, without a 35 percent tax, then you can forget that.”
Trump’s new comments impugning the Germans for exporting cars were made in a meeting with the European Commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, and the European Council president, Donald Tusk. Juncker, Der Spiegel reports, supported the Germans.
Another German newspaper,Süddeutsche Zeitung, reported that E.U. representatives felt their U.S. counterparts did not understand that the E.U. negotiates trade agreements as a single entity, rather than on a country-to-country basis. That is, the U.S. can negotiate trade deals with the E.U. as a whole, but not individually with the separate members of the E.U.
Der Spiegel reported that Gary Cohn, the director of Trump’s National Economic Council, appeared to believe that the U.S. could negotiate different trade deals with Germany and Belgium.
This is not the first time this basic misunderstanding has cropped up. When German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited the White House in March, she had to explain how E.U. trade deals were negotiated almost a dozen times, a senior German official told the Times of London.
“Ten times Trump asked [Merkel] if he could negotiate a trade deal with Germany. Every time she replied, ‘You can’t do a trade deal with Germany, only the EU,’” the official said. “On the eleventh refusal, Trump finally got the message, ‘Oh, we’ll do a deal with Europe then.’”#
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.
The revelations came hours after Trump publicly blasted the U.S.’s European partners in the NATO defense alliance, accusing them of owing American taxpayers billions of dollars because they have previously not met the alliance’s defense spending requirements. He also failed to affirm that his administration would meet its commitment to militarily support them if needed.
The president has repeatedly questioned Washington’s relationships in the region, cheering Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and engaging positively with anti-EU politicians like France’s Marine Le Pen. Top political figures and Europe analysts have already labeled his trip a major failure, and it’s not even over yet: Trump is expected to now head to Sicily for a summit of the G7, a group of the world’s most developed economies.

Jared Kushner, according to reporting on Thursday from NBC and the Washington Post, is now front-and-center in the FBI's investigation of Russia's intersection with the Trump presidential campaign and, apparently, the Trump White House.
There are some unanswered questions here: NBC noted that Kushner is being treated differently from Trump campaign aides, such as Paul Manafort, and former White House officials, such as Michael Flynn. Grand juries have subpoenaed records from both of those men, and it's not clear if subpoenas have landed on Kushner's doorstep.
But the Washington Post also reported -- and this seems central and crucial as to why the president's son-in-law is a different sort of target here -- that the FBI is focusing on a series of conversations that Kushner had in December with Russia's ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak.
At the time, Kushner had already spent months trying to arrange fresh financing for a troubled building his family owns, 666 Fifth Avenue.
After one of those meetings, Kislyak arranged a meeting between Kushner and Sergey Gorkov, the powerful chief executive of a major Russian bank, Vnesheconombank, also known as VEB.
The U.S. had imposed financial sanctions on VEB because of Russian President Vladimir Putin's military incursions in Ukraine and annexation of Crimea. (During this period the Russians were also meeting with Flynn, Trump's incoming national security adviser.)
VEB has close ties to the Kremlin, and Gorkov attended a training academy for members of Russia's security and intelligence services. A Trump spokeswoman has described Kushner's meetings with the Russians as routine, which they may have been given his role at the time as Trump's liaison to foreign powers.
But given the significance of 666 Fifth Avenue to Kushner and his family's fortunes, it's also possible that he saw the Russians as potential investors.
It's worth recalling that Kushner had spent the prior months lobbying Anbang, an insurer and prolific deal-maker close to China's government, for a major investment in 666 Fifth Avenue. Anbang had considered investing $4 billion in the building.
Kushner overpaid for the building in 2007, when he bought it with the help of bank loans for $1.8 billion. When the financial crisis landed a year later, occupancy rates in the building plummeted and Kushner had to be rescued by outside investors.
Anbang's investment would have valued the building at a handsome $2.85 billion, and also refinanced about $1.15 billion in debt.
The possibility of a transaction brought scrutiny from two Bloomberg reporters, Caleb Melby and David Kocieniewski, as well as from Congress and the#New York Times. I discussed it in a column#here#and here. The Anbang deal faded after the Bloomberg report.
There's good reason for all the attention being paid to these things: Kushner is a senior White House adviser and a pivotal voice on foreign policy issues. Kushner was also reportedly one of the leading voices telling Trump to fire James Comey from his job as FBI director.
"Mr. Kushner previously volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about these meetings," Kushner's lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, told CNN on Thursday. "He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry."
Kushner, at 36 years old, had little diplomatic or global business experience prior to the president giving him one of the White House's most powerful and multi-faceted portfolios. The prospect that he may have been jockeying for Chinese or Russian financiers to bail out him and his family from a potentially disastrous investment at 666 Fifth Avenue presents complex but obvious conflicts of interest as well as the prospect of injudicious or self-serving White House policymaking.
The Trumps and the Kushners have also played fast and loose with the norms of ethics and conflicts of interest standards as they've gone about mingling their political and business lives. It's visible in the Washington hotel that they continue to own and run not too far from the White House; it's visible in the Kushner family's recent fundraising tour in China for a New Jersey property, and it's visible -- in the very lack of visibility -- around the president's own financial holdings and tax payments.
Trump is insulated from some of this, legally. As he said just two weeks after his November election victory: "The law's totally on my side, meaning, the president can't have a conflict of interest."
The president can have a financial conflict, of course. But no federal ethics laws apply to the president. (There are anti-bribery clauses of the Constitution that do, however.)
Regardless, the president is, indeed, in a privileged legal position when it comes to financial conflicts.
Trump's advisers and relatives are not immune to those laws and others, however. To the extent that the FBI is knocking on Kushner's door with financial questions, the president's son-in-law could be in a very difficult situation.

The FBI is investigating an attempted overseas cyberattack against the Trump Organization, summoning President Donald Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric, for an emergency session with the bureau’s cybersecurity agents and representatives of the CIA, officials tell ABC News.
Law enforcement officials who spoke to ABC News on the condition of anonymity confirmed the attempted hack and said the subsequent meeting took place at the FBI’s New York headquarters on May 8, the day before Trump fired FBI director James Comey. Spokesmen for the FBI, CIA and Secret Service all declined to comment.
Reached by phone, Eric Trump, an executive vice president of the family company, would not confirm or deny that he and his brother had met with the FBI but told ABC News that the company had ultimately not been infiltrated.
“We absolutely weren’t hacked,” Eric Trump said during the brief call. “That’s crazy. We weren’t hacked, I can tell you that.”
As federal agencies monitor international computer networks in order to protect government and private sector computer infrastructure and data, the Trump Organization’s networks would be given high priority, according to Richard Frankel, a retired senior official with the FBI's New York office and an ABC News contributor.
"If there was a hack or an attempted hack of ... the company that was owned by the president, that would be at the top of the list of investigations," Frankel said. "If the FBI saw that kind of hack, they'd have to track that. There's no telling what a hacker could get that's connected to the president, corporate records, financial records, even things that were going on during the transition.”
The FBI’s involvement could come with some risks, Frankel said, both for the company and the president. In the course of its investigation, the FBI could get access to the Trump Organization’s computer network, meaning FBI agents could possibly find records connected to other investigations.
"There could be stuff in there that they do not want to become part of a separate criminal investigation," Frankel said.
In this case, if there had been communication between the Trump Organization and Russian entities, that information might be pertinent to the ongoing investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. A key focus of that probe is to see whether there was any collusion or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian hackers.
Because the unusual session involved two of the President’s children, agents sent a special alert, or VIP notice, to senior officials at 26 Federal Plaza, the fortress-like headquarters for the FBI’s New York area operations. Officials briefed on the meeting said the discussion centered on a suspected hack of computer systems used by the international real estate holding company, but they did not say who was suspected in the attempted intrusion.
The May 8 meeting came at a tense time for those closest to the president. The FBI was, and still is, in the midst of the widening probe into Russian meddling in 2016 presidential election. A grand jury empaneled in Virginia had issued subpoenas in connection with Trump’s first national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. The session with the president's sons also occurred the same day former acting Attorney General Sally Yates testified on Capitol Hill, and less than a week after Comey himself testified before Congress, officials say.
In addition to the meeting at the FBI's offices, FBI agents working on the cyber inquiry were also seen at Trump Tower during the week of May 8. Officials who spoke to ABC News would not say whether the subject of Russia’s hack of the 2016 election was raised during the discussions.
Over the past decade, both Don Jr. and Eric made trips to Russia on behalf of the Trump Organization, and both of them have been quoted in the past describing the significant sums coming into the company from Russian sources.
On May 5, golf writer James Dodson told WBUR radio that Eric Trump had bragged to him that Trump golf courses “have all the funding we need out of Russia,” a statement Eric Trump later denied making. In 2008, Don Jr. told investors in Moscow that the Trump Organization had trademarked the Donald Trump name in Russia as “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets … We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia,” according to an account on the real estate website eTurboNews.
Three weeks before Election Day, Don Jr. was paid $50,000 to travel to Paris to speak at a private dinner in Paris organized by an obscure pro-Russia group that promotes Kremlin foreign policy initiatives and has since nominated Russian President Vladimir Putin for the Nobel Peace Prize.

GOP strategist admits he colluded with Russian hackers to hurt Hillary Clinton, Democrats



The U.S. intelligence community has long since concluded Russia meddled in the 2016 election, and it was reported shortly after the 2016 presidential election that a GOP superPAC linked to Paul Ryan used illegally hacked material to attack#Democratic House candidates. But a bombshell report published on Thursday confirms that Republican political operatives were working with the Russian government to hurt Hillary Clinton and Democrats during the election — the first direct evidence of so-called collusion.

The Wall Street Journal reported that hacked information was posted on a blog run by Aaron Nevins, the political operative, and then passed along to top Trump adviser Roger Stone during the campaign. The Republican operative in Florida received a trove of Democratic documents from the allegedly Kremlin-linked hacker, Guccifer 2.0. For months, both Congress and the FBI have been scrutinizing evidence that associates of Trump may have colluded with Russia
during the campaign.
Nevins confirmed to the Journal that he told hacker Guccifer 2.0 to “feel free to send any Florida based information” after learning that the hacker had tapped into Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) computers last summer. From the DCCC, Guccifer 2.0 released internal assessments of Democratic congressional candidates, known as “self-opposition research,” to GOP operatives using social media. Nevins told the Journal that, after receiving the stolen documents from the hacker, he “realized it was a lot more than even Guccifer knew that he had.” The stolen DCCC documents also contained sensitive information on voters in key Florida districts, breaking down how many people were considered dependable Democratic voters, undecided Democrats, Republican voters and the like. Nevins made a war analogy, describing the data he received to Guccifer 2.0 as akin to a “map to where all the troops are deployed.”
After Nevins published some of the material on the blog HelloFLA.com, using his own pseudonym, Guccifer 2.0 sent a link of the information to close Trump associate Roger Stone — who is currently under federal investigation for potential collusion#with Russia.
“I just threw an arrow in the dark,” Nevins, who set up a Dropbox account for Guccifer 2.0 to transfer data, told the Journal. “If your interests align,” the operative concluded, “never shut any doors in politics.”
Stone told the Journal that while he did receive a link to Nevins’s blog from Guccifer 2.0, he didn’t share the stolen data published on the blog with anyone.
In addition to receiving hacked information about Democratic races in Florida, Nevins also received internal details#about congressional districts in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. The Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC with close ties to House Speaker Paul Ryan, eventually#used the material that was stolen by hackers in attack ads against several Democrats.
Anthony Bustamante, a Republican campaign consultant for Rep.#Brian Mast (R-FL), told the Journal that he used the stolen information to plan ad buys and better target a mailer effort: “I did adjust some voting targets based on some data I saw from the leaks.”
Republicans ignored Democrats’ pleas not to use the hacked material for political gain.
After Guccifer 2.0 targeted the#chair of the DCCC, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Paul Ryan arguing that “the NRCC’s use of documents stolen by the Russians plays right into the hands of one of the United States’ most dangerous adversaries,” and if the National Republican Campaign Committee continued using the materials, the GOP “will be complicit in aiding the Russian government in its effort to influence American elections.” Ryan never responded.
For his part, Trump has repeatedly denied any coordination with Russian officials. The Kremlin has also rejected any connection to Guccifer 2.0. But both the Department of Homeland Security and Director of National Intelligence believe Guccifer 2.0 is tied to Russian military intelligence.

One of the reasons this collusion story took so long to break is because it's so over the top media was hesitant to believe it .

Back in July '16 I got several leads regarding Russian collusion and tried to report. I got told over and over to move off it.

Everyone said it was the stuff of conspiracy theorists while evidence mounted. It was so large people didn't want to accept possibility.

Trump and company didn't hide this well. It was so transparent and in the open, but it's brazenness hid it.

If you'll remember though, the Clinton campaign hinted subtly that it was there. Even those allusions went unheard.

Trump's chief strength is being so brazen that people don't want to believe someone could be so corrupt. This is only one in a long line.

The dots weren't hard connect and we're there since Dem Convention, but the emails were the juicier more mundane story.

Such a back channel would be unprecedented, said retired four-star Gen. Michael Hayden, who also once headed the National Security Agency.
"This is off the map," Hayden told CNN's Michael Smerconish. "I know of no other experience like this in our history, certainly within my life experience."
Two top Trump advisers dodge Kushner questions
Kushner spoke in December with the Russian ambassador about creating a secret communications channel with the Kremlin, a source with knowledge of the matter confirmed to CNN. Kushner is under investigation as part of the FBI probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Kushner's interest in a back channel first was reported by The Washington Post, which cited intercepts of conversations between Russia's ambassador, Sergei Kislyak, and Moscow.
Several Trump administration officials declined Saturday to comment on the reports.
Asked by Smerconish if he thought such an inquiry by Kushner would have been nefarious or nave, Hayden said the latter.
"Right now, I'm going with naivete, and that's not particularly comforting," he said. "What manner of ignorance, chaos, hubris, suspicion, contempt would you have to have to think that doing this with the Russian ambassador was a good or an appropriate idea?"

Kushner at the time of the alleged conversation was acting in an official capacity on behalf of the incoming administration and was benefiting from an interim clearance.
Aside from being an example of potential collusion with the Russians, such actions by Kushner would indicate a degree of contempt and suspicion for the Obama administration that Hayden found hard to fathom, he told Smerconish.
"It says an awful lot about the campaign," Hayden said. "It says an awful lot about us as a society that we could actually harbor those kinds of feelings that the organs of the state would be used by my predecessor to come after me or to intercept my communications or to disrupt my administration in a way that made it seem legitimate to me to use the secure communications facilities of a foreign power."

Whenever you see the words 'sources say' in the fake news media, and they don't mention names........it is very possible that those sources don't exist but are made up by fake news writers. #FakeNews is the enemy!

Declaring MSM as "the fake news" only drives them to work harder and finding "sources"....he should know that....WHAT is interesting until now none of the MSM articles on Trump and his family and his connections has been 300% refuted by any evidence given by Trump himself.....

Meaning he could release all of the last 25 years of his taxes to show he is not tied to anyone...BUT WAIT he claims he cannot because he is being audited...BUT IRS say he can ...and yet he still does not...so what is he actually hiding.... ...

What is extremely interesting is that one of the Watergate Special Prosecutors today stated the Russin investigation would not be going so fast under the FBI if it had not been for social media keeping the fires going....
