Sad news alas, spotted via Twitter by Crispin Burke and a re-Tweet by Clint Watts a member:
Sad news -- I received word that Dave Dilegge, the editor-in-chief of SWJ passed away over the weekend. The site was, and still is, hugely influential within the defense and national security community. It's a place where many people, including me, got their start.

Dave was the person who got me writing on this forum. He's probably one of the more influential people for me personally when it comes to professional publication. His impact on all has been huge and it's with great sadness I read this.
