For the past little while, Laura McNamara has been blogging at Savage minds (http://savageminds.org/author/laura/) about the topic of Anthropology and Torture. Unlike the sensationalist accusations made at the AAA's last fall, Laura has been conducting systematic research on documents trying to find any linkages between them. Her conclusion, at least so far, is that there are none.
Laura is one of the people involved in the entire Anthropology Military debate whom I hold in the highest regard. She is an excellent scholar, and her blogs are well worth reading.
