At 10:00hrs today at Zulu Time Jerusalem, they set off all the Emergency sirens in Israel as a test. Pretty impressive. Slightly less so with some of the kids in a near by school playing "dead ant" in the play ground, and one of the guys renovating my house, actually sleeping through the alert! - he started at 07:00hrs!

Lot of civil defence drills over the past couple of days. Makes for an interesting back drop to everyday life.

I suspect this has a slightly different effect on Israel's neighbors.

...Nothing like an air raid (drill) to get the blood flowing :D
