Sgt.Peyton Williams of Slapout,Al. was named Marine of the year!!!!!! His home is stated as Wetumpka,Al. because the Guvmint want give us a post office so 1/2 of Slapout is in Wetumpka and 1/2 is in the Deatsville US Postal zip codes. During the ceromony you will here he is a graduate of Holtville High School which is right in the middle of Slapout.:) So good Marines come from Paris Island but the Marine of the year comes from Slapout,Al. Congratulations Sgt. Williams.

I will post pictures of this years Xmas parade. There is even talk of changing the caution light to a real traffic light we are growing so fast. There going to build a Piggly Wiggly here next year:eek:
