This is creating a big buzz in the blogosphere...

Just wanted to point out that noted professional wargamer/analyst Jon Compton (former editor of F&M) will be offering occasional thoughts and rants over at GrogNews. His first post (Just What are Wargames Good For?) is up today!
My blog:

http://defense-and-freedom.blogspot.com/
This is blog about the defence against external threats and about the defence of civil liberties.
Most topics are about the art of war, military history or military technology.
For anyone interested in checking out a new Security Blog this is one I run with three other graduate students at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. We all have various backgrounds in Defense, Law, Development and Education and offer a diverse grouping of opinions

We're slowly revamping the features we've got on GrogNews. A new one that might interest people here is a COA Analysis we do on Wednesdays with the intention of some reader participation. We throw out 4 different COAs (admittedly not thoroughly developed) and ask the readers for some participation in discussing which ones they think might come to pass, and how, and what could be done to affect them. We also welcome comments on how wrong they might turn out to be. And you can comment w/o having to register for anything first (it means I have to chase spammers around a bit more, but less inconvenient for the readers)
An example COA Analysis from the past few weeks.

I also run a website for Rhodesian and South African Military Engineers. Please feel free to drop by and browse the site. You can find it at:

Keep up the good work,
Rockeye
another Rhodesian and South African type - and a sapper to boot (an ancient and honorable trade).
I can handle one, I'm not sure about two. ;)
Welcome to the forum.
Cheers
Mike
