Ahrar is going to profit as first and as most from this. That's the 'lesser evil' there. Worst of all is that they'll - wholeheartedly, and without any trace of chance of any kind of US/Western influence - let anybody else who wants to do so, do the same.
...and that, combined with 1000% certain increase in Saudi - and then especially Qatari - aid, is at least 1000% certain to result in bolstering of extremist groups, foremost the JAN.
With other words: what the West - and particularly the USA - is doing in Syria is diametrally opposite to what the West (and especially the USA) are attempting to achieve there. There is going to be no peace, not even any kind of negotiations: only ever more extremism and escalation - resulting in hundreds of thousands of new refugees already in short term, and completely unpredictable developments in the long (or at least I do not want to think about predicting them).
