From what I can gather, this would seem to suggest that the 7/7 bombers were operating from a 4GW model. The cell structure also looks like it corresponds with Arquilla and Ronfeldt's theories on Netwar.
Can self radicalized individuals responding to a nihilist message be described as either 4GW or netwar?
I did only say suggests but I would give a tentative yes, small radicalised groups using informal networks to create mass havoc aimed at the population centre seems to me to lean towards such theories (although obviously, widely disputed as noticed on this board), I have seen other press releases which may suggest that they could have been part of a larger Al Quaeda conspiracy since the ringleader had visited Pakistan, possibly to meet with other operatives, This is still somewhat fuzzy though.
