Karzai says Afghanistan to be safer once foreign troops leave

At first I made the mistake of assuming Karzai was referring to his porous borders and the ISI.

Then I read the article. Karzai is going to need more than a fleet of drones to make Afghanistan "be a safer place"...

Will Mr. Karzai be in Afghanistan after his term of office expires at the end of 2014?:D

I was going to say that Afghanistan will quite likely indeed be a safer country -for some, but for whom? Mr. Karzai will ponder about that too.

No doubt all parties involved will have twelve months to work that out. I have my metrics set for 2013, anyone know the number for the betting office in Kabul? :D
