Came across a piece in the Charlotte Observer today with the punny title Army Dropping number of Paratrooper Troops informing that the 101st Airborne's pathfinders are going off jump status. I know that the Australian 3RAR went off jump status a couple of years ago, as well.
Anyone out there willing to give an informed ballpark estimate of the financial savings involved in percent when taking a unit off jump status?
