Game Theorist Demonstrates Importance of Showing Restraint

Dr. Roger Myerson won the 2007 Nobel Prize in Economics, and recently wrote a paper for the Strategic Studies Institute entitled "FORCE AND RESTRAINT IN STRATEGIC DETERRENCE:A GAME-THEORIST’S PERSPECTIVE".

He makes use of the Prisoners Dilemma scenario to demonstrate how our lack of restraint in our 2003 invasion of Iraq has resulted in an increased use of force vs. restraint by our enemies.
