I was just wondering if anyone knew the title to the companion guide that followed the US Army/Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Manual. I ask because I saw it at Borders a while back but I forgot the title and can't seem to find it online? I was also planning on buying both of the books together if I can find out the title for the second book.
Btw the guide was in the same green and white cover format as the counterinsurgency manual.

You're thinking of FM 3-07, Stability Operations. Note that the publisher is different from the folks who put out 3-24.

Just my opinion but FM 3-24.2 Tactics in Counterinsurgency is what I would consider more of the companion manual and I highly recommend it. Cavguy provided the link for a free download in his post.Quote:
