Exclusive: Trump sends private message to embattled Flynn: "Stay strong"
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/investiga...ail&soc_trk=ma

It is witness tampering/obstruction, but it's the way #dolt45 has always done business. New York knows...

Trump really, really shouldn't be sending messages to subjects of an investigation that might implicate them both. He's playing with fire.

Let's ask @brhodes @AmbassadorRice @DenisMcDonough or @mwlippert how many times they talked to Russians during 2008 campaign?

The key in the Reuters revelations is Viktor Medvedchuk, who is Putin's man in Ukraine. This points at Manafort.

Medvedchuk is a Ukrainian oligarch and very close ally of Putin's....

    NOTE.....

While NBC has been breaking news on three items that were reported by social media journalists weeks ago....they are seriously not fact checking their own stories...AND BTW not giving credits to those journalists in their articles for breaking information first.....

The same two social media journalist who have been amazingly accurate with their reports are now saying this about Pence.....

I have a source (not Olga's) in LE who told me "Pence came to the Russia party late but quickly got into the spirit of the thing".

There are in fact recordings of Pence and Russians in conversations about Russian money support to GOP at the national convention...

The Russia he was talking to was the US Russian Ambassador...

Pence-Flynn coverup no shock if you remember Pence's other national security negligence/coverup–his hacked AOL emails while Governor that got talked under the radar and largely forgotten by MSM......

Pence also at the State level was charged and fined as a young politician for using campaign money for his house mortgage....

With today's report that Flynn has turned on Pence, it looks like VP's staff has good reason to be worried after all

Interesting that out of the Senate Rodenstein briefing a number of even Republican Senators had come to the conclusion that next to a Russia investigation there are a number of criminal investigations which has been reported by social media to be RICO and money laundering related....

We must also not forget the following which has been largely running under the radar.....

    From NYTs 6 APR 2017

Kushner Omitted Meeting With Russians on Security Clearance Forms

On his security clearance SF86 form he totally "forgot" to include all his Russian travels, Russian contacts and any Russian business dealing under the SF86 Section on Foreign Contacts and Businesses....

THAT normally would be an automatic invitation to a repeat personal interview to explain WHY BUT it appears that was not done...WHY

If it had been me or you we would have been fired and the clearance pulled for life.....

Interesting and overlooked fact....being reported out of FBI....

Comey fired by Trump on 9 MAY.....

On Wed, May 10th, Robert Mueller was at DOJ (he arrived at 7:18am) and began informally acting as Special Counsel until off. ancmnt on 5/17.

It is almost like Comey called Trumps moves before Trump knew what to do...

Not only did he leave a paper trail he left a chain of command to continue....

NYT: Comey Is Said to Have Become Unsettled by Interactions With Trump
    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/18/u...fbi-trump.html

WASHINGTON — President Trump called the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, weeks after he took office and asked him when federal authorities were going to put out word that Mr. Trump was not personally under investigation, according to two people briefed on the call.
Mr. Comey told the president that if he wanted to know details about the bureau’s investigations, he should not contact him directly but instead follow the proper procedures and have the White House counsel send any inquiries to the Justice Department, according to those people.
After explaining to Mr. Trump how communications with the F.B.I. should work, Mr. Comey believed he had effectively drawn the line after a series of encounters he had with the president and other White House officials that he felt jeopardized the F.B.I.’s independence. At the time, Mr. Comey was overseeing the investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.
Those interactions included a dinner in which associates of Mr. Comey say Mr. Trump asked him to pledge his loyalty and a meeting in the Oval Office at which Mr. Trump told him he hoped Mr. Comey would shut down an investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn. Mr. Trump has denied making the request.
The day after the Flynn conversation, Reince Priebus, the White House chief of staff, asked Mr. Comey to help push back on reports in the news media that Mr. Trump’s associates had been in contact with Russian intelligence officials during the campaign.
Mr. Comey described all of his contacts with the president and the White House — including the phone call from Mr. Trump — in detailed memos he wrote at the time and gave to his aides. Congressional investigators have requested copies of the memos, which, according to two people who have read them, provide snapshots of a fraught relationship between a president trying to win over and influence an F.B.I. director and someone who had built his reputation on asserting his independence, sometimes in a dramatic way.
Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, said in a statement on Thursday that “the sworn testimony” of both Mr. Comey and Andrew G. McCabe, the F.B.I.’s acting director, “make clear that there was never any attempt to interfere in this investigation. As the president previously stated, he respects the ongoing investigations and will continue working to fulfill his promises to the American people.”
It is not clear whether in all their interactions Mr. Comey answered Mr. Trump’s question or if he ever told him whether he was under investigation. In the letter Mr. Trump sent to Mr. Comey last week in which he informed him that he had been fired, Mr. Trump told Mr. Comey, “I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation.”
The F.B.I.’s longest-serving director, J. Edgar Hoover, had close relationships with several presidents. But in the modern F.B.I., directors have sought an arm’s length relationship with the presidents they serve and have followed Justice Department guidelines outlining how the White House should have limited contact with the F.B.I.
Those guidelines, which also cover the F.B.I., prohibit conversations with the White House about active criminal investigations unless they are “important for the performance of the president’s duties and appropriate from a law enforcement perspective.” When such conversations are necessary, only the attorney general or the deputy attorney general can initiate those discussions.
Mr. Comey has spoken privately of his concerns that the contacts from Mr. Trump and his aides were inappropriate, and how he felt compelled to resist them.

.@seanhannity: "The deep state must be purged."

AND then he went on to sate the following......

He ran the Seth Rich story again. Claimed he's the source of Podesta emails and that it can't be Russia bc "Assange said so."

This is the same Wikileaks that leaked Russian state sponsored hack emails of French President Marcon right before the French election..the same Wikileaks...

BUT WAIT...he cannot be the source of the Podesta emails as that would then place him working inconjunction with Russian GRU and FSB hackers

Can someone explain to both the US AG and Representative Nunes exactly what the term "Recusal" means....

Nunes is under invesitagtion for ehtnic violations in revealing classified information.....

Sessions even though recused from the Russian investigation was participating directly in the firing of the FBI Director who was investigation Trump and possible Russian connections....

Nunes is also still reviewing Russian intelligence when he is supposed to be "recused".....

The former head of the House Russia investigation, Rep. Devin Nunes, is continuing to review intelligence relating to Russia, a move that has Democrats grumbling that he has violated the spirit of his recusal.
Nunes, a California Republican, took a trip to the CIA this week to review Russia intelligence, according to House intelligence committee sources. As word of Nunes trip trickled out among lawmakers this week, it angered Democrats who thought that they had moved past the chaos spurred by Nunes' coordination with the White House.

Among big items is this story - Russia bought ads to help Trump in 2016, acting essentially as vast IE.

Critical to look at how RNC/Priebus/Spicer mainstreamed the Russian disinformation. Was essential to op's success.

Rohrabacher was once warned by FBI that Russian spies were trying to recruit him, via NYT.

AND based on his constant positive support for Putin, Russian annexation of Crimea and his Nazi comments every time he refers to Ukraine they in fact must have recruited him...and his support to lift sanctions.

Default The challenge facing the President

In a commentary on President Trump's overseas tour The Soufan Group say:
Bottom Line Up Front: • On May 19 President Trump will embark on his first trip abroad since taking office.
    • The administration has billed it as an attempt to unite three of the world’s great religions in the fight against terrorism and ideological extremism.
    • The effort to achieve a degree of unity in purpose among America’s allies in the Middle East comes at a critical time in the lifespan of bin Ladenism.
    • Nothing has done more to preemptively undermine the success of the President’s first trip abroad than the endemic culture of scandal in U.S. domestic politics.

(They conclude with) As the ability of the U.S. government to craft and execute complex, long-term policies is increasingly called into doubt over domestic political turmoil, there is a real risk that the U.S. will come to be viewed as an unstable and unreliable partner, diminishing its influence abroad.
