Default Lockerbie: an open or closed crime?

    Moderator's Note

This thread was entitled 'Lockerbie Bomber Could Live Another 10 Years' and the thread was closed in May 2012 after the death in Libya of Adelbert Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi. Today I have reopened the thread as yet again the "finger of suspicion" is pointed away from Libya - see Post 17 and so have renamed the thread 'Lockerbie: an open or closed crime?' (ends).

According to a recent review which could be somewhat embarrassing for both the British government and the devolved government in Scotland. Convicted Lockerbie bomber Adelbert Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi could live up to 10 more years despite earlier known claims to the contrary by the Libyan Government and the British medical doctor who took up his case.
