    Default Superiority

Fun and interesting short story by Arthur Clarke (starts on page 395) on why the technological superior side lost. Interesting observations for an article that is over 50 years old.

This isn't so much about asymmetrical warfare as described today, it is about the failure of technology during a more conventional war, the parallels are still there.

Good read. Our problem seems to be the opposite--the protagonist military in the story is too careless with risk, whereas what I hear here and elsewhere is that we're too risk-averse.
