Caucasian Review of International Affairs
The Caucasian Review of International Affairs (CRIA) is a Germany-registered, quarterly peer-reviewed free, not-for-profit and online academic journal which has been published in English since 2006. With its broad International Advisory Board and Editorial Board representing various academic institutions the Review is committed to promote a better understanding of regional affairs by providing relevant background information and analysis, as far as the Caucasus in general, and the South Caucasus in particular are concerned. CRIA also welcomes lucid, well-documented papers on other countries and regions including especially Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe as well as on all aspects of international affairs, from all political viewpoints. CRIA’s primary goal is to produce an efficient dialogue and exchange of ideas on the Caucasus and beyond among practitioners, researchers and theorists from the region itself and abroad.

CRIA publishes research papers, comments, book reviews and interviews as well as a weekly analytical piece, the Caucasus Update. CRIA distinguishes itself as the only quarterly academic peer-reviewed free online journal covering the topics on the Caucasus. The Review is widely distributed free of charge via email to large number of subscribers and is available via a range of research networks and mailing lists to thousands of readers in the region and worldwide. Readers of CRIA include primarily international affairs professionals, think tanks, embassies, policy-makers, parliamentarians, governmental agencies, journalists, different regional and international NGOs and university libraries from the Caucasus and around the globe.
