Default Platoon Structure of Bundeswehr & French Foreign Legion

    Hello everybody,

I am looking for information of rifle platoon structure for a few forces.

Bundeswehr platoon; exact year is not important. They will be equipped with G36 assault rifles. Any thing in that timeframe would be useful.

French Foreign Legion; exact year also not important. They will be equipped with FAMAS and AT-4s.

    Thanks for any help.

Here is some info I found on the Foreign Legion:

    http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~dh...nce/LE/PLE.htm

scroll down to about mid page and you will find a diagram of a Foreign Legion light infantry platoon.

    Default Try Fuchs

Try a PM to Fuchs, our German SME who is taking a break from SWC. I do visit his own blogsite, it may have the answer:http://defense-and-freedom.blogspot.co.uk/

And the info on the German platoon:

This site is more informative and don't let the link name fool ya. Many of these gamers take this stuff seriously so they make sure they have the details down.

I appreciate the effort you made. I located this document previously. Close inspection reveals it to be a work of fiction related to a future involving humans moving off earth. Part of it includes reference to the 24th century and fighting in low or zero gravity.

On casual inspection it looks real.

Thank you, that looks useful indeed.

I note that this structure has M4 machine guns. The miniatures my friend purchased for his force are equipped with M3 machine guns not M4. Is this a simple substitution that represents a slightly earlier version of the Bundeswehr platoon?

    Ok, try this link http://forums.bistudio.com/showthrea...y-organization

I would think the FFL platoon structure would be the same as the regular French Army.
