There seems to be a massive Russian internal info war and cyber war ongoing against their own internet sites.

Not only FB, but Russia twitter also being blocked in connection w/ Manezhka protests

Russia's internet authority is blocking anything that even mentions Manezhka protest on Jan 15 MTT pic.twitter.com/Q2yjxWoRpC

There are rumors that the Moscow Times has been raided by Russia's authorities. This may explain why they posted:

Looks like @roscomnadzor is now targeting individual tweets containing info about the Jan 15 Navalny rally at Manezh

World Service fears losing information war as Russia Today ramps up pressure http://www.theguardian.com/media/201...r-russia-today

I have often mentioned here at SWJ that the real cause of Putin annexations of Crimea and eastern Ukraine are all tied to the democratic movement the "Maidan" because the Ukrainian governance and corruption model is and was so close to the Russian model and Putin's fear of the same thing happening in Moscow--and he basically has a deep fear of the word "democracy".

In an "alleged" fraud trial a Putin opposition leader is being charged with 10 years and it is a fake trial--a demo date and place cropped up on the net and since then the Russian government is making every attempt to stop it---but as the net is a living organism the net resistance is growing and the US companies Twitter and FB are being openly accused of supporting a dictatorship---maybe because of the large amounts of Russian investments in to them?

Durov: Vkontakte gets 53 letters in 5 hours from Russian coms regulator demanding it block pages with word "Navalny".

Battling for Truth - Countering #Russia's enormous information war waged against #Ukraine, by @yevhenfedchenko.

So @twitter now also complying with Russian authorities, sends message to @bystrov_a saying tweet about 15 January @navalny rally illegal.

Scathing editorial in @novaya_gazeta: Putin msg: don't meddle in politics or anyone can be @Navalny anytime. #Russia

The founder and former CEO of Vkontakte is taking the opportunity to criticize Facebook today. pic.twitter.com/4YoJps8X1P

    TT "@antizapret_info: Already 14 sites blocked for posting news about #15January #Manezh https://antizapret.info pic.twitter.com/VJtadPFJG0"

Facebook and Twitter refuse to continue blocking posts about pro-Navalny rally on Jan 15. Now Russia may block them altogether - @tvrain

On Chekists' Day, Facebook blocks a page supporting Navalny by complying with the law written by Andrei Lugovoi, a Chekist. Pretty symbolic.

As #Russia blocks Facebook page calling for protest, @FT recalls #Putin description of Internet as a project of CIA.

Most alarming is that Twitter and FB might be blocked entirely in RU by Wed for not complying

Seems that the NKoreans are having a tad problem with their internet.

After vow of retaliation from Obama, North Korea's internet service has collapsed. "It's toast," expert tells NYT:

Russian info war getting into high gear over the latest MH17 reporting.

So we have now two new stories--1) the Ukrainians "stole a BUK" and 2) the Ukrainian jet had no missiles when it returned but in fact it never was there to begin with.

Ha ha: Now that it is proven a Russian BUK shot down #MH17 Kremlin says "Ukrainians stole it"...

Russian "secret witness" Voloshin right on time to counter @obk secret witness showing rebels with Buk shot down.

    http://www.interpretermag.com/ukrain...ovements/#5862

Komsomolskaya Pravda produces "secret witness" Capt. Voloshin, claims he shot down MH17; Investigators to probe.
    http://www.kp.ru/daily/26323.5/3204312/

So an Ukrainian pilot goes to Moscow to admit he shot down MH17--make sense?

The next Russian excuse will be that Santa Claus accidently hit MH17.

Next possible Russian excuse for the shot down other than themselves:

Next week: @lifenews_ru reports that Yarosh's business card was found in MH17
Jan 2015: @RT_com says Savchenko shot down MH17
    February: ???
