Было много дыр в стыках. Правильные мероприятия по минированию и другим тактическим вопросам не были проведены заранее. До нас там стояло подразделение 4 месяца.

Мы заняли те позиции, о которых, я думаю, сепаратисты знали - от разведки, от местного населения. Но это не важно. Важно другое: запасных позиций приготовлено не было. Позиции, блиндажи были оборудованы абы как. Мы зашли в декабре - уже что-то строить, перестраивать, усиливать не было возможности. Зимой в январе на окраинах Дебальцево, где мы стояли – село Новогригорьевка – было до 30 градусов мороза. Плюс ветер. По ощущениям, все 35 градусов были. Неделю-две такая погода стояла. Что-то перестраивать было крайне тяжело. Более мирное и теплое время было потеряно, и, на мой взгляд, оборона была построена неправильно. Уж не знаю, на перемирие или на что еще рассчитывало высшее военное руководство.

Part of the Russian UW strategy New Generation Warfare is the deployment and recently in the Ukraine field testing of new weapons systems---field testing under combat conditions gives one military the edge over other militaries.
