Interesting social media comment because in fact the Russian elite units have been taking a rather large beating the last two months by the Ukrainian shift to guerrilla warfare coupled with their SBU intel units coupled with some massive voice intercept ops.

elitr units were backbone of Shoigu's defense reforms. Implications of them being ground down in Donbass are interesting.

This is an interesting comment as it is true---the Russian mercenaries were constantly in their propaganda battle videos showing the dead bodies of killed Ukrainian fighters/soldiers---then the last two months virtually nothing.

For weeks #Russia trolls didn't post photos of #Ukraine troops' corpses... just shows who is doing the dying now :-)

Open source media seems to indicate a Russian troop invasion force sitting on the Ukrainian border has been camouflaged to look as if they are forces of the "New Russian" mercenary army.

Another FSB guy in Donetsk. Here is interview where Dontsk Peoples Republic GRU head claims that he served with Strelkov in Chechen capital Grozny. According to Strelkov he served there in FSB.
