The Fourth Rail is pleased to publish the first release of the Iraqi Security Forces Order Of Battle. The ISF OOB is based on open source information. We believe this document is a good representation of the structure of the Iraqi Security Forces.

The OOB will be updated and published on a monthly basis. The Iraqi Security Forces Order Of Battle was compiled and written by DJ Elliott, who retired after 22 years as an Intelligence Specialist in the U.S. Navy [IS1 (SW)]; and CJ Radin, who has has a long time interest in military and international political affairs, and has been a war-gamer since 1976.
