Default Big Brother, Those Norwich Ads, and Us

It is a little bit creepy how Norwich University ads started popping up all over the place shortly after this thread got started. I assume you all are experiencing the same thing I am in your individually served placements. I thought someone else would have brought it up already. I thought you'd like to know that I'm as mildly freaked out as some of you. Those boys in Google sure do have some algorithms. But they also help us to keep the lights on.

So please frequent our advertisers. And when you buy stuff at Amazon, including those great books you hear about here, please go there through our site (Support page or various links scattered about) so we get that referral free. Two things to remember -- you don't pay any more, and you can buy all kinds of junk there, not just books.

If I wasn't worried about throwing this thread off topic, I might mention winning lottery tickets or meeting women with HUGE.....tracts of land.

    Are you listening Larry? Sergey?

No, I don't want a summer job at Disney. And that rocker gal isn't going to sell me a Cadillac. But I guess it beats Armed Forces Pen Pals. And thanks for keeping us running.

    Ahhhh!!!!

Now that I too have been freaked out a bit by the MA in Military History ad (although thought provoking), I have to contend with the possibilities of a MA in Diplomacy.

I'm glad it wasn't just me weirded out by soldiers covered down next to a cannon.

Firefox's Add-block plus has so far screened me from the Norwich cannon crew (though I did see it on my laptop which does not have the ABP extension installed). Interesting stuff...

We need more posts about the 3 P's: Penthouse, Playboy, and porn and really throw off the curve. Then lets see what adds we get.

    Default "MA in Diplomacy"

As in, pin stripe suit? Lifting the pinky during afternoon tea?

    Scares me.
