Currently, in the area of #Donetsk airport are intense fights. Russians are shelling massively with MRLS "Grad", SPG, tanks!

HAS everyone now noticed that from the US, Germany and France there is not not a single utterance in support of the Ukraine.

So much for supporting the concept of rule of law, good governance and transparency as the driving values of civil societies that the US and Obama have preached for over six years--means nothing to the UAF tonight as they dodge hundreds of artillery shells and GRAD rockets trying to defend those exact same principles that Obama and his NSC have basically abandoned as part and parcel of the US foreign policy.

As "legacy of a President"has won out over a strategic strategy for the US in dealing with Russia.

The following is a key indicator of just how badly Obama, Kerry and Nuland got "suckered" by Putin as Putin fully understands the Obama need for his "legacy".

Putin in the last Normandy Four meeting held demanded of the Germany and French FMs that the Ukrainians "give a sign of good faith" by pulling the the UAF out of a strategically important seaside town near the city port of Mariupol.

Obama gave in and demanded via Nuland that the Ukrainian government conceded on the unilateral appeasement demand and pulled their UAF out of the town but kept them on the strategic hill which over looked Mariupol.

AND the Ukrainians conceded more by pulling out their tanks and 120mm mortars as well and declared a 30km pullback as well as pulling all weapons of 100mm and smaller back as well--NOTE not matched at all by Russian troops and her mercenaries--INSTEAD we have had 110 attacks at day since then with 152 alone just last night.

The unilaterally demanded pull back consisted of the Russians ONLY back 1.4kms while the UAF a total of 15kms.

Since that pull back as demanded by the US--the UAF Marines have had a number of WIAs and one KIA and have been repeatedly shelled and ground attacked and shelled heavily last night --AND that is the "sign of good faith" Putin demanded.

As the major attacks are now underway--there is a serious question hanging in the air--HAS the unilateral demands by the US as well as the Obama reluctance to supply defensive weapons contributed greatly to the latest round of fighting which has cost the Ukrainians over 20 KIAs and over 100 WIAs not counting the loses of the NG and the volunteer BNs and Ukrainians civilians ?? THAT alone in the first 11 days of August.

It is a valid question--namely does one's own personal historical "legacy" balance against the loses of the Ukrainians??

At a time when "legacy" should be taking a backseat to an actual strategic level Russian strategy--we see coming out of this NSC with over 700 personnel--absolutely nothing.

When the outgoing and new incoming JCoS both state publicly Russia is an existential threat to the US and the outgoing ACoS states Russia is the single most danger to the US--we get what from this WH and their NSC.

Absolutely nothing, nada, nichts, silence--how can that be???

BUT wait they do answer--"we cannot walk, talk and chew gum at the same time as there are many other global problems that need our attention"--seeming to forget that the US has only one nuclear trigger pointed directly at it and Russia has vowed on a number of occasions recently to use it and wants the destruction of global liberal democracy ie the US.

Is there not a clear and concise strategist in all of those 700 NSC members??

Heck some BCT Staffs I mentored had the capacity to produce a strategic strategy if asked.

We the US will be paying for this "want of a legacy" in the years to come as we the US have failed badly with the current foreign policy of this administration.

Has the Obama WH and the 700 person strong NSC forgotten the IC telephone number or is it they simply do not want the truth about the war in Central Europe???

If they take the word of the DNR MoD from yesterday who "defined the ceasefire" as being simply 30 attacks a day and full war at 150 attacks per day and the WH accepts my position that full war operations is reflected in attacks between 55-65 per day THEN we are in full war in Central Europe--AND have been for over five weeks now.

With the Russian offense being initially "masked" by a slow ramp up of shellings and ground attacks until the last five days where we are seeing a big time Russian offensive unfold before our eyes.

YET there is a stunning silence out of the WH and the NSC. For that matter absolutely nothing out of Hollande and Merkel--the creators of Minsk 2 which they used to keep the US from sending defensive arms to the Ukraine.
