The source claims (I cannot confirm) that Abu Luqman (Ali Moussa al-Hawikh) was maneuvering himself to become #Baghdadi’s successor.

The source claims #Baghdadi dispatched Adnani to #Syria to muscle out Abu Luqman (former #Raqqa emir) - sparking the assassination.

Worth noting that Abu Luqman was released by #Assad in 2011 prison amnesties & had been ID’d as 1 of 3 possible #Baghdadi successors.

Indeed, some are babbling about 'Tiger Force' there - and not in southern Aleppo, where it is all the time.

...all of which is lots of baloney, anyway, then nobody else is reporting any kind of trouble - fighting or else - at Ma'ardas. Most likely, characters in question are mixing Ma'ardas with Ma'an - which is where the SSNP should've launched some counterattack, supposedly even with support of the flying Assadists (SyAAF), and before they fled the battlefield there (too).

This is even 'genuine' news, i.e. the IRGC is in the process of deploying its own Liwa Kibbeh Nayyeh to Syria (with 'its own' I mean a 'regular' IRGC brigade, staffed by Iranians).

However, as its designation is indicating, this is a 'brigade', and it's probably not more than 600 strong.
