WHAT is interesting is that there is total silence out of the anti Assad forces in Aleppo numbering close 10,000 and only an estimated 500-700 are JFS WHO in theory would be leaving BUT ASSAD and PUTIN thinks somehow all are leaving......IMHO they will not be leaving nor will JFS be leaving any time soon as they are all prepared to go down fighting.....

THINK about it...there are absolutely no international guarantees for their safety and Assad/Putin have declared they are killing IS and JFS....would you get on a bus???? Especially since even the UN has a poor track record in
Syria of protecting anti Assad forces....AND Putin does not have a great track record for protecting surrender corridors....ASK the Ukrainian UAF?????

Silence has been the response for the rebels to the Russian/Assad offer.....AND think about it...the so called massive Assad regime operation to capture Aleppo has repeatedly failed thus really a military offensive failure across the board....and more bombing causes more demands for MORE sanctions on Putin and company...WHICH Obama is actually blocking...why I have no idea....

WHY would actually JFS get on busses flying the Assad fly they have been fighting against for over four long years?....NOT a single UN/SRC/IRC flag to be seen.....
Syrian war: Rebels reject Aleppo withdrawal offer from Moscow; UN says all parties must agree first

    19 October 2016 Reuters

Syrian rebels have rejected Russia's offer of a withdrawal of fighters from Aleppo after Moscow announced a halt in air raids which it said was designed to allow insurgents to leave and to separate moderate fighters from extremist militants.

    Key points:
Rebels deem the offer "surrender" and pledge to fight on
UN says Russian unilateral statement is insufficient
Red Cross says it is unclear how much time is needed to get security clearances

"The factions completely reject any exit — this is surrender," said Zakaria Malahifji, the political officer of the Aleppo-based Fastaqim group.

On Monday, Moscow said that Russian and Syrian forces would pause their attacks on Aleppo for eight hours on Thursday to allow rebels to leave while allowing humanitarian aid to enter.

On Tuesday, Russia halted all air strikes, two days ahead of time.
But the United Nations said that Russia's unilateral plan for a humanitarian pause would not ensure any supplies get into besieged eastern Aleppo because Russia and Syria and other groups fighting in the city have not yet given guarantees of safety for aid workers.

"We need assurances from all parties to the conflict, not just a unilateral announcement that this will happen," UN spokesman Jens Laerke said on Tuesday.

"We need everybody to give us those assurances before it is immediately useful for us to do anything meaningful."

The International Committee of the Red Cross also said it was still unclear how much time would be needed to get security guarantees from all sides, including from rebel fighters.

Meanwhile, Al-Farouk Abu Bakr, an Aleppo commander in the powerful Islamist group Ahrar al-Sham, added that the rebels would fight on.

"When we took up arms at the start of the revolution to defend our abandoned people we promised God that we would not lay them down until the downfall of this criminal regime," he said, referring to President Bashar al-Assad's Government.

"There are no terrorists in Aleppo," he said.
Rebels in eastern Aleppo have consistently said that insurgent groups linked to Al Qaeda or inspired by it have no real presence in the opposition-held part of the city.

The Russia-Syria bombing campaign has destroyed most health facilities in the besieged city, where 406 people were killed and 1,384 wounded between September 23 and October 8, according to UN data based on reports from medical facilities
    .

REMEMBER the exact Russian actions WHEN even with the agreed to recent US/Russia "deal" and all approving the urgent shipment of aid into Aleppo a KEY CORE element of the US/Russian "deal" the Russian AF bombed the Turkish aid convoy for over TWO full hours killing 21 and destroying aid for 123,000......

Text messages being sent to mobiles in E Aleppo from the government of Syria. They say...

"Armed men in East Aleppo, the promises of aid, supporting troops and weapons will not be kept."...

"The whole world has let you down and sacrificed you to meet your lethal fate.":...

"Think before it is too late. Leave your weapons and get out!"

BUT WAIT now the truth comes truly out....Russia had stated they could leave with their weapons ....this is the same exact trick the Russians played on the UAF in 2014 when they were surrounded and Russia claimed to allow them a safe corridor to leave with their weapons AND Russian troops slaughtered them when they came out....

BUT WAIT...more bombing will harden the EU into actually placing more sanctions of Russia as Merkel will drive that home to Putin today here in Berlin......

AND the Assad regime massive combat operation to capture Aleppo has basically and totally failed...

AND TAF/FSA troops and the Turkish AF sit now 10.5 miles from the Assad regime real lines in western Aleppo.....

AND more weapons and munitions are flowing unrestricted into northern Aleppo via Qatar, KSA and Turkey AND it is making a difference already on the battlefield....AND Assad regime mercenaries are losing high numbers of troops in the fighting....

    Putin's plan for the week:
    Tu. Implement Syria cease-fire.
We. Sound reasonable at Berlin summit.
Th. Undermine EU debate on new sanctions

AND the Obama/Rhodes/Kerry Plan....there is none....

Russia says can respond forcefully if U.S. toughens sanctions

This is actually a new development - and a potentially important one.

Nah, it's not that they have bombed a hospital: this is already 80th ('or so') such facility hit by Assadists and Russians in the last three months alone.

It's the precision of the attack in question.

Where's the point? Over the last few weeks, Assadists and Russians sporadically bombed the FAI, AAS and Jund's units that were advancing into northern Hama - but were missing them all the time. Usually by about 150-200 metres. That was 'perfectly common', i.e. within the pattern of their 'precision' in this part of Syria ever since the Russian military intervention began. Means: they were all the time missing by 150-200 metres (and, best of all: Russians knew that).

About a week ago, they flew a strike on a small, underground hospital near Kfar Zita. While scoring no direct hits, that air strike was much more precise than any of strikes flown in that part of Syria before.

Now, the SVP-24 nav/attack system installed in all of VKS fighter-bombers (and Assadist Su-24MK2s and Su-24M-2s) is 'satellite assisted', but depends on availability of ground-based GLONASS stations. These usually have a range of 150km (like everything Russians develop for their 'frontal aviation', including MiG-29s and Su-25s). Task of such stations (in essence: a tall antenna with a container including power supply) is to compare data provided by the usual four satellites and correct this as far as necessary (there are, BTW, similar GPS-stations all around the world, too, and they are widely used in support of civilian traffic; after all, you don't want your airliner to land 12metres aside of the runway just because the GPS is 'ah, not so 100% precise').

So far, there seem to have been two such stations in Syria: one atop Anti-Lebanon mountains high above Hmemmem AB, constructed back in November 2015 (after the Russians had to deploy two battalions of their troops in order to manage something the Assadists and the IRGC didn't manage in two months of bitter fighting) - and one at Kweres AB, installed in December last year. With their help, average precision of Russian (and Assadist) air strikes in NE Lattakia and in Aleppo area was much improved, and their bombs are usually missing geographic coordinates at which they aim by 30-40 metres.

(This, BTW, is the case even for air strikes 'guided' by Russian FACs - and regardless of these using binoculars equipped with GLONASS receivers and laser-range-finders.)

However, so far average precision of their (and Assadist) air strikes in Idlib and Hama was at about 100-200 metres (as confirmed not only by specific Russian, but insurgent sources too). This was a little bit unusual considering the Russian Army troops are holding the second defence line for Assadist troops in northern Hama. But, fact is: this battlefield was largely stagnant, 'not as important' the last 12 months.

Since the FAI, AAS, FASH + Jund's offensive into northern Hama, the situation changed 'a lot', obviously. Foremost, the 'improved precision' of latest air strikes is indicating that the Russians have installed their third GLONASS ground station in that part of Syria.

NW #Idlib: Turkish Army entered in #Syria near Aqrabat w/ tanks & bulldozers likely to set up a new crossing point.
    http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=36...709442&z=12&m#

BTW...this is just not simply to setup a border crossing....THIS is a serious Erdogan warning to both Assad and Putin and it is the Turkish PLAN B...and a not so subtle warning about Aleppo and to YPG in Afrin.

THIS will be the same combined arms maneuver mix as in N Aleppo.....TAF SF, TAF armor and FSA troops.

Aleppo is now being approached from two flanks with Assad in the middle......
