She cannot leave as cannot Assad...as he would be charged with war crimes and genocide....so she has to stay...simple as that.....

I wouldn’t believe for a second that 24-48hr bombing pause in #Aleppo is going to see opposition fighters do 180° shift & quickly surrender.

WHY would they surrender with TAF/FSA exactly now 10.5 miles away from them inching even closer and apparently Assad and Putin not realizing the goal of TAF/FSA...

AS TAF/FSA move closer so does a NFZ move closer to Aleppo.....

I *would* believe for a second that renewed fighting after “pause” will see #Russia/#Assad truly go all-out to prepare #Aleppo assault.

HERE is the motive behind this stoppage....every time Russia stops either in Aleppo or eastern Ukraine it is always for preparation for an upcoming battle...it allows him to move troops arms, munitions and fuel ALL under the cover of a so called ceasefire and it freezes say the UAF in Ukraine and the anti Assad forces as then the WEST will state "see you broke the ceasefire".....

The Syrian SUPER GAU is brewing and yet the US and now Putin does not seem to see it coming whatsoever.....

Erdogan has repeatedly stated the YPG/SDF/PKK must pull out and YET Obama thinks he can talk Erdogan out of this.....AND Putin thinks he has an unspoken agreement over Aleppo which he forgot to tell Erdogan about....

TAF/FSA are inching slowly ever so slowly towards Aleppo and by the YPG not pulling out of Tal Rifaat place YPG directly in front of that slowly inching forward which neither TAF and FSA will tolerate any longer....AS YPG has repeatedly attacked FSA positions under support of Russian CAS and FSA has not forgotten that.....

Ultimately, I see no interest in US pursuing confrontation with #Russia.
But this idea that #Moscow’s AD negates U.S. capability = rubbish.

The S-300 to S-400 evolution presents further risks, but the U.S has explicitly developed its own stand-off & air systems to deal with them.

Greece has had S-300s in Crete for 15yrs - and as such, both #Israel & the U.S know everything there is to be known about its weaknesses.

Strange comments re. #Russia’s S-300 being insurmountable problem for US = complete codswallop

Wld it be risky? Sure. But perfectly doable.
