Putin's options are now rapidly running out...if he continues the Gronzy style destruction of Aleppo WHICH he really wants to do he himself is then responsible for a hardening of EU sanctions on the Crimea/Ukraine side and far harsher sanctions for Aleppo and war crimes....
I have never in over 40 odd years of living in and out of Europe seen a French President call out Putin and or any former Soviet or Russian leader for "war crimes"...as the French stated..."true war crimes"....
WHILE Putin attempts to laugh off the effects of the sanctions ALL one hears from him and his Duma is what damages they are and have been causing...so YES they do in fact hurt and hurt badly....
Putin if he continues the destruction of Aleppo truly runs the risk of being charged in the ICC for war crimes...and even as a sitting so called Russian President he could be arrested and hauled into court....ask African leaders who have had the experience....WHILE his courts defy the ECHR he cannot if he does not want to run the risk of being personally sanctioned and cut off from the banking world with his BILLIONS stashed overseas...that could in fact be confiscated and or seized.
Right now his so called "blue water navy" is really being seen as a "local lake navy" that after 80-90 days has to return to base and refit and resupply....he has been largely unable to project for really extended periods of time a strong naval presence anywhere...
Putin has really reached a point where he himself has to ask...is Assad really worth it???? WHY right now the vaulted Iranian, Hezbollah and Shia militias are truly not in a position to win against the anti Assad forces manpower wise and or in a position cost wise to continue years if needed in fighting a guerrilla war with the anti Assad forces....
Assad and Putin really do need to look at the current situation...even if Assad can gain some control of the hand full of rebel held cities...Assad and Putin would need upwards of a 300,000 man force to tamp down a guerrilla war and he simply does not have the necessary troops and MONEY....
Reference the impact of sinking oil prices and the sanctions...in German...stagnation in Russia until 2035...Putin cannot afford another round of sanctions due to Aleppo and Syria.....

WELL the Russian drone operator is back at it again now at 13:04:31 and counting and he is screening his long line of buses .....STILL no civilians.......
WOW.......must be frustrating for the Russian MoD to have thrown a humanitarian aid party and no one came..
BUT HEY they organized it without the UN, the US and the EU and never planned on providing actual humanitarian aid to anyone inside eastern Aleppo....
SIDE COMMENT:.....the quality of the drone footage is actually quite poor...the US Shadow at that height gives far better screen and resolution quality.....

IF one takes the time to really go through this particular twitter feed from the journalist....when he talks about the rebel mortar rounds HE truly failed in the same breath to talk and the Assad Shia/Hezbollah ground attacks over the last week through this exact area....
FAIR AND BALANCED...seriously doubt it...fair and balanced is determined by who is paying these days NOT by the "truth".....
ITV has been called out a number of times for be a paid proAssad mouthpiece in certain articles.....
EXAMPLE....there are countless smuggle routes into eastern Aleppo..WHY did this journalist not take the risk upon himself and see and experience at first hand the sheer Russian bombing destruction just 500 meters away from where he was standing...THAT he did not but he can talk about a "rebel mortar round landing nearby"....

MAYBE the Syrians learned the UAF lesson when they were offered a "humanitarian corridor" to withdraw and were slaughtered by Russian troops that the US/EU initially refused to believe were inside Ukrainian territory....
WHEN Putin arrived yesterday in Berlin to talk Ukraine and Syria he was accompanied by two individuals on the main sanctions list that should have never been in Berlin.....BUT Merkel requested a special allowance for them....WHY was that.....BUT EU MSM outside of the German media outlet BILD did not pick up on the two......
BUT US MSM did in fact notice it.......Merkel is moving fast to try to get some sort of agreement by December SO that Obama can claim a successful wrap up of the Russian invasions of Crimea and eastern Ukraine for his "legacy".....

BTW....if this journalist was knowledgeable about the Russian bombing campaign ongoing in eastern Aleppo ....THE bakery he was talking about HAD been hit by a Russian air strike NOT by fighting and or a rebel mortar round.....end of story and I am not in Aleppo as he is.....
Comments concerning that air strike hitting the bakery were in fact posted here the day it happened and he is just getting to the idea of writing about it...THREE/FOUR days later......THAT is exactly why many people feel that MSM has basically fallen off the cliff in their quality of information and writing.
