Is this the usual word salad, or has he (been given a) pre-coordinated "detente" with Putin?
WHAT is extremely interesting Azor....is the comment that Russia is really hurting under the sanctions...THIS faces in the face of repeated Russian FM and Putin statements to the contrary....SO just how does Trump know it is "hurting".....
The actual US trade sanctions are not hurting Russia as the US trade with Russia is extremely low..the EU sanctions on the other hand are hurting and hurting badly....
SO WHY is he going to drop US sanctions for a nuclear deal when the bulk of the Russian sanctions are in place until JUN 2017/DEC 2017 BY EU and cannot be lifted by a US President.....?
BUT WHAT Trump is not saying is the US sanctions are on USD transfers from individuals/banks...that Russia has to flow over the NYC Federal Bank for clearing as all USDs must clear the US federal Banking system at some point....and this impacts greatly those oligarchs and Russian individuals who have been hit as well as those Russian banks named in the sanctions....
