Throwing this back at you, the Russians are experts at information warfare. You told so a thousand times. One of their objectives is to weaken countries by causing deep political divides in countries of interest, which in turn makes them less of threat to Russia. I doubt they liked Clinton or Trump, but they supported the loser to deepen the political divide in our country. Now that Trump is President they're working with the far left, who you clearly support now, and leveraging them through agents of influence to tear our country apart by focusing on complete nonsense. I wonder if the Russian bots you warn us about are posting the twitter twits you continue to post at a pace no one can keep up with. Recent studies indicate if you post a lie repeatedly, people will start believing it. Are you sure you are not unwittingly supporting Russia now? How can you be sure? Isn't the purpose of Russia disinformation to create doubt? Clearly we have plenty of that in our country now, but I'm keeping faith. This to will pass someday.

What I post usually has been first reported by social media and actually lately even backed up by MSM "breaking news"......
I learned a long time ago that out of most HUMINT reporting there is usually a grain or two of "truth" and you as the collector must learn to "see and understand" that grain or two....
REMEMBER just what Comey stated publicly in a House hearing...."when people realize what is ongoing and there is a true version they will be shocked on how their information was wrong".........

Bill...if I remember correctly I was warning about Trump long before the election and during the transition....
The lefty thing simply refers to the bias lens you tend to view the President with. There is no balance, no critical thinking, just a strong belief the President is guilty of something, followed by cherry picking SM to support this belief. Frankly in today's political climate it is the left doing this. Last administration it was the right doing it with their outlandish claims about Obama. Our nation is suffering from a deficit of character and reason.
We have biased media on the left and the right that deepens our political divides based on unprofessional reporting. Perhaps 24 hour news was the downfall of professional news, which combined with capitalist competition for market share has resulted in the fourth estate becoming as unreliable as social media. Add the failure of our universities to produce critical thinkers, and the increasing difficultly of sorting through the half truths in the age of spin we have become a democracy in name only now.

BTW just a side note...due to my being former SF...having been in Det A, having a student in the Freie University, speaking fluent German and a good working Polish, having worked at JAROC B and 766thMID, having been in the only Army Intel Reserve unit in Berlin ALL got me on the GDR MfS Stasi and KGB\GRU radar and they tracked and or monitored me for over 18 years until I was approached by Stasi for the KGB\GRU....which resulted in an immediate call to INSCOM......I know where my loyalty lies...some in the Trump WH and Trump himself apparently do not....

I do know what a KGB\MfS\GRU recruitment approach is and can see it coming a mile off...just as Brennan saw it coming and was trying to ascertain the depth of the Russian operation which was from what is being reported they did not initially and correctly put the dots together...cyber, information ops, and direct recruitment as a agent of influence....overall what is called in Russian "active measures"....
That is why he actually sidestepped answering directly was it collusion..OR colluding??
BTW do not think for a single minute Trump has not been on the USG IC radar...starting in 1986.....and for that fact even monitored by several European intel agencies...

If true the process will expose this. Most Americans had little faith in either Trump or Clinton when it comes to trustworthiness, but we still need to wait on the facts. Seeing a Russian recruiting pattern at play is intuition not necessarily fact. Intuition has its role to play, but it needs to be confirmed or disproved with facts.
A lot of what we are seeing being "discovered" about Trump and his businesses conflicts...his finances and his 7 bankruptcies ...his Russian connections...and the same for his advisors was all out there before the election...US MSM simply did not cover it.....in fact the "Steele Dossier" was held up for months by US MSM......
The mess we have now is largely a mess of the US MSM.......
US social media companies must take full and complete responsibility of their failure to control their media in the face of massive Russian info warfare using their own media against Americans......

Appears both the GOP and Trump have not read this particular individual...Brennan has as it the secret behind every successful CI investigation..

No, Impeachment Doesn't Work That Way
As Buzz News has just been cited on another thread I found this article from them of interest, partly as I sit across the water watching events unfold. 3. THEN if Buzzfeed had read also what I posted here THERE is a very distinct concept called "intent to impeach" VS. the actual "impeachment process".
4. If in fact Buzzfeed had accurately researched the 1978 Congressional document on impeachment it is CLEARLY so stated ......
The core reason that the "intent to impeach" process is started is in fact to ensure that sitting President cannot issue any pardon on Federal indictments and or convictions.....BUT Trump cannot pardon anyone indicted and or convicted in State Courts....

If Buzzfeed had noticed the THREE Federal Courts handling the Trump Muslim Ban court hearings had all demanded the Trump Guiliana Ban memo.....and they answer to the US Supreme Court..who would have in fact sent a US Marshall to inform Trump that he and his WH failed to provide the Federal Court ordered memo under "discovery"....as it was the Trump WH named in the Court orders.....

Sources further say that the Supreme Court notified Mr. Trump that the formal process of a case of impeachment against him was begun, before he departed the country on Air Force One.
