FBI response and notice how it is worded.....foreign officials and their staffs as part of their Senate duties...nothing mentioned about "meeting and talking with Russian US ambassador outside of his Senate duties at say the RNC in Cleveland which is outside of the DC Senate and discussing GOP funding"......
In the CNN article Sessions said the FBI told him...in fact it was his staff what inquired not actually Sessions...
