He is voicing strong push back on the coming Congressional sanctions on Russia....as it will definitely limit any Trump abilities to lift any single sanction as he has wanted to do since he came into WH....

Now Sessions says we should only be interested in IMPACT of Russia's attack, investigation should focus on that.

Dems act like they never heard of atty/client privilege; AG is top atty in Exec branch; serves @POTUS and not stooge of Congress.
First of all the US AG does not work strictly for the President ...he works for the American citizen...AND he is the senior government official for the judiciary not the executive branch of government....
Secondly, the President has his own General Counsel who is suppose to be his senior legal advisor...
LASTLY Session keep dancing around not answering straight forward questions about his conversations with Trump claiming some kind of DoJ requirement...WHICH do not exist...
Sessions alluded to the fact he would have to first check with Trump on anything he said to see if he could speak about it.....
It would have been easy for Trump to cover Sessions by claiming "executive privilege" BUT that would have been an answer that the Senate would understand....
Sessions says he's not answering questions "in case" the President wants to invoke executive privilege in the future.
BUT Sessions did not even invoke "EP"......as Trump had not invoked EP...SO he should have answered all questions until he was notified by Trump to stop under his own EP claims..Sessions really attempted to "second guess" and "second guessing" is not answering a question asked under oath.....
Problem is ..many Trump voters will "hear this totally FALSE statement and believe it as the truth"........

Is Trump and his WH systematically blocking twitter account access as an attempt to limit "free speech".......AND any critique against him????
Over the last three days there has been a sudden spike in accounts blocked by @realdonaldtrump for no apparent reason other than they push back via twitter on Trump statements and tweets...
.@knightcolumbia is handling our complaint against the president for blocking us. They asked anyone who has been blocked to contact them.
They will asking Federal Court for an Federal injunction against both Twitter and the Trump account as those that are being blocked HAVE fully and completely remained inside the Twitter Terms and Conditions...based on their 1st Amendment rights being violated .
They argue that since the Trump spokesperson recently stated when asked about Trump tweets stated that anything Trump tweets is in fact officially from Trump and the Trump WH .....AND the 1st Amendment restricts any government interference in the freedom of expression WHICH is what the Trump Twitter account blocking is achieving....government interference....at the Presidential level...
Rough guessitmate of number of blocked accunts is now into the tens of thousands....
The fact that Trump has time for that - but not to ask about defending against Russian interference - is profoundly disturbing.

In April, Trump fired a top State Dept. official after Breitbart questioned her loyalty.
As a career staffer she helped formulate the Iran Deal BUT Breitbart.com questioned her loyalty after claiming she was a "Muslim".....AND proObama holdover....
I'm not buying the idea that WH aides talked Trump out of firing Mueller.

REMEMBER Sessions gave multiple answers all the same I suggested the firing of Comey for poor leadership and low morale at the FBI BUT I never had a talk with him about it...NOR as is usual conducted no written eval review of his job performance....
THEN he also heard Trump on NBC "openly state that he was going to fire Comey for still conducting the Russian investigation with was the direct opposite of what Sessions was saying the reason was for firing Comey....

REMEMBER Sessions stated yesterday that this was all a fake rumor about the Trump firing of Mueller.....IMHO Trump would do it in a Texas minute if he though he was being seriously investigated....right now he is not exactly sure what is being investigated that ties him into Russian connections....

What was strange in the Sessions statement was the sudden shifting into about how bad crime is in the US with murders indicating an increase in murder rate of 10% and the MS13 drug gang and how well Trump has been in defeating MS13.......and then Sessions warned all criminals we are coming for you???????

Sens. Wyden, Heinrich & King accuse Sessions of stonewalling by refusing to say if he discussed Russia probe w/ Trump re Comey firing.
Difference between Comey and Sessions hearings: one talked about his communications with Trump, one refused to do so.
Trump thinks dangling possibility of being fired will "focus" Mueller on delivering "a blanket public exoneration"
