Looks like Trump is getting ready to fire the Deputy AG...the only way he could then in theory fire the SC Mueller because Sessions is recused....

Rosenstein. Get your principles ready. You will need them shortly.

WHAT is interesting is exactly how Trump overinflates just about everything.....

Right now he is tracking on his twitter account no more than 32.4M "Followers".......OF those 15.4M are automated server controlled bots mainly overseas...

There has been an increase of 400K automated bots just in the last three days and more are joining due to the ongoing investigation.....

Detection of a tad bit of panic right now on the part of Trump....he has been on a twitter rant all morning....

After 7 months of investigations & committee hearings about my "collusion with the Russians," nobody has been able to show any proof. Sad!

WHAT is wrong with this tweet.....

    1. the Senate and especially the House Intelligence Committees have largely been blocked and delayed by the Trump WH

    2. Comey hearing set the tone for obstruction charges....

WHAT Trump failed to notice is that the FBI has been conducting an investigation on him, his family and close associates for over one year now

What Trump apparently does not know is that there are THREE Grand Juries ongoing on a supposedly FAKE NEWs collusion story....

In the meantime his son-on-law and his sons are being investigated and VP Pence has "lawyered up" now as well...

Transition Team ordered to preserve records Russia/Ukraine, Manafort, Rick Gates, Page, Stone, Flynn

Trump Transition Team Orders Former Aides to Preserve Russia-Related Materials

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/16/u...nquiry.html?hp

WASHINGTON — Members of President Trump’s transition team were ordered on Thursday to preserve documents and other materials related to the investigation of Russian interference in the presidential election, according to a memo obtained by The New York Times.
The memo, from the transition team’s general counsel’s office, is the latest indication that the investigation’s special counsel, the former F.B.I. director Robert S. Mueller III, is casting a wide net in his inquiry into possible collusion between Mr. Trump’s campaign and Moscow.
The memo says former transition team members “have a duty to preserve any physical and electronic records that may be related in any way to the subject matter of the pending investigations.”
The so-called preservation order covers any transition team information involving Russia or Ukraine. It also seeks any background investigation records involving the former manager of the Trump campaign, Paul Manafort, and his business partner, Rick Gates; the former foreign policy adviser Carter Page; and the former national security adviser Michael T. Flynn. Mr. Flynn was fired for misleading Vice President Mike Pence about the nature of a call with the Russian ambassador to the United States.
The memorandum also names Roger J. Stone Jr., an informal adviser to Mr. Trump.

    @PreetBharara

Americans should also exercise caution before accepting as true lies about firing of FBI Director & defamation of a war hero special counsel

This Federal Prosecutor was fired one day before he was to start an investigation into Trump's two sons for money laundering...

    BUT....
Mike Pence illegally leaked to @washingtonpost the lie that @GenFlynn was not under investigation. Rosenstein shot was at Pence

Rosenstein will be staying. His statement was a shot at both Pence and @washingtonpost for covering up for Pence. Post story now changed

The @washingtonpost broke protocol and ethics by concealing their source was a US official to protect @mike_pence. Story now changed.

In this story Rosenstein statement made WaPo change the text to add "US" to "official". He's threatening Pence and Bannon with obstruction

Trump actively aided Putin’s plot agnst America, continues to help Russia get away w/it
    http://www.motherjones.com/politics/...andal-guilty/#

As soon as the news broke a year ago that the Russians had penetrated the Democratic National Committee’s computer systems, Trump launched a campaign of denial and distraction. For months, he refused to acknowledge the Kremlin’s role. He questioned expert and government findings that pinned the blame on Moscow. He refused to condemn Putin. Far from treating these acts of information warfare seriously, he attempted to politicize and delegitimize the evidence. Meanwhile, he and his supporters encouraged more Russian hacking. All told, Trump provided cover for a foreign government’s attempt to undermine American democracy. Through a propaganda campaign of his own, he helped Russia get away with it. As James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, testified to Congress this spring, Trump “helps the Russians by obfuscating who was actually responsible.”
On June 15, 2016, the day after the Washington Post reported that the DNC had been hacked and that cybersecurity experts had identified two groups linked to the Russian government as the perps, Trump’s campaign issued a statement blaming the victim: “We believe it was the DNC that did the ‘hacking’ as a way to distract from the many issues facing their deeply flawed candidate and failed party leader.” The intent was obvious: to impede somber consideration of the Russian intervention, to have voters and reporters see it as just another silly political hullabaloo.

.@NewtGingrich speaking right now at the @PressClubDC:

"The president of the United States cannot obstruct justice."

At its core, this is an argument against the existence of truth. It is Trumpism's most dangerous element.

POTUS seems to be in full meltdown mode last two days. How long before he tries to fire Mueller, setting off Saturday Night Massacre II?

IS Trump trying to get his courage up to fire the SC Mueller and then unleash his own demise as President.....

If he goes this route I really do not think Trump thinks he can be impeached for it....

HAS Trump found a way to fire SC Mueller.....after this specific tweet Rosenstein will have to recuse himself as he would in theory become a witness to the conversation that Trump had with him and Sessions over the firing of Comey......

THEN who is left in DoJ to withstand a request by Trump to fire SC Mueller???

Reuters is indicating that Rosenstein is in fact considering his recuses for that exact reason.....

This is a dangerous Trump move as Rosenstein could in fact challenge what Sessions and Trump have said about the actual reasons for firing Comey....

Rosenstein news -- Deputy AG acknowledges he may need to recuse himself from Russia probe - @ABC News

Asked the WH to clarify that Trump's tweet was referring specifically to Rod Rosenstein. Sarah Sanders deferred to Marc Kasowitz + his team.

WHY now does Trump need a Press Team as his lawyer is now answering all questions....

BUT WAIT..Trump disinformation hard at work????

Rosenstein specifically told Congress that his memo didn't recommend Comey's firing

Highly unusual to say the least.....

Putin has called an "emergency" meeting of the #Russia security council. No reason published so far.

Interesting paragraph out of the article...points to a coordinated Trump info war against the FBI......this paragraph points to a serious brewing conflict between Trump and the FBI and US IC....

]Trump’s surrogates have launched a broad campaign to discredit Mueller, claiming he suffers from conflicts of interest and has been bringing on prosecutors who have supported Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Chris Ruddy, the CEO of Newsmax and an ally of Trump, even floated the idea earlier this week that Trump was prepared to oust Mueller.

Rosenstein and Mueller are, for now, unlikely to be fired immediately. But Trump apparently wants to keep the option open. One adviser said the comments trashing Mueller and Rosenstein from Trump and others "should not be viewed as just a pure coincidence."

"President Trump has started the clock on the Rosenstein firing watch," said Evan Siegfried, a GOP strategist. "This is feeding the private discussions in the GOP about the president's state of mind."

Trump says he challenges Cuba to come to negotiating table with new agreement that benefits Cuban people#

How does Trump honestly believe that Cuba will do exactly as he states they should....

Trump says canceling Obama administration's one-sided deal with Cuba, effective immediately

    Trump curbs Obama's Cuba detente
President Trump ordered tighter restrictions on Americans traveling to Cuba and a clampdown on U.S. business dealings with the island’s military, saying "with God's help a free Cuba is what we will soon achieve."
As Trump laid#out his new Cuba policy in a speech in Miami,#the White House#announced plans to roll back parts of former President Barack Obama’s historic opening to the communist-ruled country after a 2014 diplomatic breakthrough between the two former Cold War foes.
But Trump was leaving many of Obama’s changes, including the reopened U.S. embassy in Havana, in place even as he sought to show he was making good on a campaign promise to take a tougher line against Cuba.
"We will not be silent in the face of communist oppression any longer," Trump#told a cheering crowd in Miami’s Cuban-American enclave of Little Havana,#including Republican Senator Marco Rubio, who helped forge the new restrictions on Cuba.
Trump calls for free and internationally supervised elections in Cuba

This is really what Trump has been doing since day one on the WH.....

Still, it will be the latest attempt by Trump to overturn parts of Obama's presidential legacy. He has already pulled the United States out of a major international climate treaty and is trying to scrap his predecessor's landmark healthcare program.

Germany threatens retaliation if US sanctions against Russia harm European firms
    http://read.bi/2sa4OZ1

BERLIN/BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Germany threatened on Friday to retaliate against the United States if new sanctions on Russia being proposed by the US Senate end up penalizing German firms.
The Senate bill, approved on Thursday by a margin of 98-2, includes new sanctions against Russia and Iran. Crucially, it foresees punitive measures against entities that provide material support to Russia in building energy export pipelines.
Berlin fears that could pave the way for fines against German and European firms involved in Nord Stream 2, a project to build a pipeline carrying Russian gas across the Baltic.
Among the European companies involved in the project are German oil and gas group Wintershall, German energy trading firm Uniper, Royal Dutch Shell, Austria's OMV and France's Engie.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman described the Senate bill, which must be approved by the House of Representatives and signed by President Donald Trump before it becomes law, as "a peculiar move".
