Assad was surprised by the #Palmyra & #Hama offensives. He reacted in both cases with #Sarin gas attacks against civilians.
Assad used #Sarin against civilians 4 days after #ISIS launched the #Palmyra offensive & 2 weeks after rebels launched the #Hama offensive.
Assad used #Sarin three times:
- August 2013 in Eastern #Ghouta
- December 2016 in Eastern #Hama
- April 2017 in Southern #Idlib
Hama: #Assad killed around 90 civilians & wounded 500 with toxic gas in Eastern #Hama in December 2016. Unnoticed!

Perfect example of just how US MSM actually falls for Russian disinformation operations.....
Immediatedly after the chemical weapons strike o civilians Russia stated..."hey it was not Assad nor us because we were not flying in the area"...THEN the next version was ...."it was those pesky rebels who had a chemical weapons factory hidden in an ammo dump we targeted"....
THUS proving their first version being basically a lie.....
A number of US MSM to include say local German media started carrying the Russian second version as if it were the truth..until a world renown chemical weapons expert flatly stated..."Russians are lying....Sarin is destroyed in explosions" THUS disproving the Russian version number two....
THEN US MSM pulled this latest Russia version from their programing....WHY they did not fact check is amazing to me.....
