This casebook has been developed as a "reader" in insurgency and revolutionary warfare. Its major functions are to provide a general introduction to revolutionary warfare and to serve as a consolidated source of background information on a number of relatively recent revolutions. A standard outline was used for each summary account in order to facilitate comparisons among the revolutions.
