The Captain’s Journal just published a post today whose first paragraph begins by:

It seems as if half of the blog-0-sphere has spilled ink on the issue of young Private Scott Thomas Beauchamp and his ugly charges: mass graves in Baghdad (in my city we call these ‘cemeteries’), mental abuse of IED victims, and other such things (see here, here, here, here and here). I have resisted as long as I can, and feel that I should have shared my thoughts long ago. So now, TCJ weighs in on the young Private.

You’ll notice that I sent a comment to this post, already, but while I was writing it I wondered at some point whether someone on SWJ had graduated in psychiatry or would have been trained in military psychiatry or behavioral science; in which case further interesting debate might arise since psychiatry and other behavioral studies are well relevant to subjects interesting regular readers of this blog?
