He'll say anything that is the antithesis of POTUS' position.

Well that part is dead on, violence was on the decline in Anbar before the surge and the surge doesn't amount to that many extra troops in Anbar, so yeah he gets itAnd let me be clear, the violence in Anbar has gone down despite the surge, not because of the surge.
