    Default Who are the dogs?

    I'm not sure I really understand this saying. My assumption is that Gen. Petraeus is the sled driver, Iraq is the sled, and AQI the closest wolf to the sled. If this is right, who are the dogs? One can only assume it's the US military forces...I think Petraeus owes us an explanation....

    I think Iraq is supposed to be the sled, the dogs I'm not sure were part of the analogy, but if you wanted to extend it - you might consider it the forces driving it along - which is a pretty big list. As for better analogies, each to his own I reckon.
