Technically it's correct, but it hides more than it reveals. For example, saying "Iraqis want what we want, safety and security for their families" it implies that because we feel safe in an area that hasn't been ethical cleansed, Iraqis will too.

It also implies that we'd never go to war unless our families and homes were threatened.
