About two years ago we ran into the same problems with robot and detection device spares while in Afghanistan. The folks at DLA were extremely helpful and gave us GSA contacts with 24/7/365 numbers. Once established, these folks really got things moving. For example, our Ahura Scientific First Defender (chemical detector) contact in CA called the representative at 0200 GMT in New England, who immediately booted up his laptop and called us back.
