    a) Welcome. Experience such as yours is welcomed.

    b) Skimmed your paper. A lot of synergy with Dr. Nagl's Advisory Corps paper. Agree with most of your recommendations and scheme. However, the Army has unfortunately rejected the model you suggest, instead proposing to take BCT's and turn them into advisory units as needed, rather than have standing units which individuals rotate in/out of.

    You ought to submit this to SWJ Magazine or a professional publication, it is well written and has merit.

    Thanks for the encouraging words. I'll do it.
    As to DA's decision, it's not the first time they've been wrong but if this LIC stuff is what's on the horizon, something like this will have to happen.
    Sometimes it's strange how the Armys institutional memory works... or doesn't
