    Default Camp Liberty Shootings

At the suggestion of Old Eagle, I am starting this as a new thread here. While it may have its law enforcement aspect under the UCMJ, its import will be more media and politically driven - which is unfortunate.

    Some early comments are here.

I'll start this thread with this morning's reports from FOX and MSNBC.

    --------------------------------
To OE: How to insert a hyperlink. You are in the editor and have a webpage also open. Highlight address on webpage and right click mouse which gives you an edit box - hit copy in box. Go back to editor and highlight the text to be linked - in above the words: here, FOX and MSNBC.

Click on icon (Insert link) 5th from end in second row (the B to quote icon row) - you will get a dialog box with "http" highlighted. Right click mouse on dialog line to get edit box - hit paste in box.

Faster by using ctrl-c for copy and ctrl-v for paste - if you know those shortcut keys.

Cool! I did it! Doncha just love it when a kid makes a new discovery? PLEASE do not answer this rhetorical question, but rather concentrate on the substance of the thread.

Default And to think you couldn't be

    Trained - Again

If you want to want to read about a military that has had a serious problem with fragging, take a look at the Russian Federation.
Yep, and it takes place even today. So much in fact that a senior officer had to go door-to-door telling parents little Johny would be just fine in the Russian Infantry !

At my office we a very saddened by this. One of my co-workers asked if it was appropriate to have turned the soldier away in the first place. It is a good question, though I told her that I have turned away clients that I felt were a risk to my staff team or other clients and trusted my choice on this 99% of the time. I wonder how much the MH stigma played a role if at all.

What he did was selfish...Period. Hopefully, his actions are an outlier. I'm gonna hold off for full-comment until all the facts are published, but regardless of his grievances, he had no right to take the actions he did.

There is no excuse for the pain and suffering he placed on countless other families.
