    Tom,

None taken. But I think match box cars and Legos are equally cool.

I have had that T-Shirt for at least a year... I still haven't worn it in front of its intended audience (10th row of a concert for my favorite band... Pearl Jam). Aside from the fact that I couldn't make it to the last tour, I wonder if I'd be too scared.

It definitely gets plenty of smiles and laughs here on the panhandle of Florida, though.

I need that shirt. One of my Sociology classes (Doctorate level) is being taught by two communists. It's a great class but they're already pretty sure I'm the anti-christ. I told them "No, I am a former marine though". They said it was the same thing.

Merely a minor imp of Satan old boy ! If they keep going on about Gramsci, you could always ask them just why he was in prison .

Communists, capitalists still buy into iconic Che photo, author says

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (CNN) -- It is the most popular photograph in history: Argentine revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara stares pensively at the horizon, his steely eyes shielded behind a thick beard and his trademark beret. The shot -- taken by Cuban photographer Alberto Korda in Havana on March 5, 1960 -- turned the charismatic and controversial leader into a cultural icon.

Now, nearly a half-century later, the photograph is used by communists and capitalists, Marxists and marketers to sell ideas. In his new book, "Che's Afterlife: The Legacy of an Image" (Vintage Books), journalist Michael Casey examines how this photograph came to take on a life of its own and become the most reproduced photograph in the world.

"The Korda photograph can be seen on t-shirts, beach towels and condoms, even," he said.

    Default Culture eh?

Funny old world. My military upbringing tended to look at "Ernesto Che" as a bit of an idiot.

Same as T.E. Lawrence. Lots of flash and smoke. Very little heat and fire.

...but can't imagine having Allenby, or Slim on a T-shirt.

... then Stan could give us his expert analysis - in terms of training and education, of course.

What, the rabbit ate the carrots. Unheard of ? No, they interfered with his training program. Training, training, training ....

And the real family name goes back to Lynch - Irish expat.

    A humane fly trap?

Wow they are trying to get a start in Argentina--where I hope to go on my post-deployment splurge for a high volume dove shoot. Average number of shots is 1000 a day. PETA is going to do real well there--about as well as Che did.

Default And yes, training, too, Mike...

Tom, you don't need training but I do believe you'll want a really good recoil pad for that trip...
