    I have always viewed military/PMC/LEO message boards as an effective counter to Islamic jihadist boards. Think of two competing OODA loops. It is impossible for a large heirarcy to compete with a network; you defeat networks by creating networks. Anything .mil is less than desirable; considering OPSEC/PERSEC, you want to make it so that anyone can speak their mind without fear of retrobution.
