    Default El Salvador war: postscripts

Having recently finished writing a book that covers my service on an MTT (El Salvador) it is very interesting to read about the experiences of others in this kind of work. I think ours was a bit unusual in that we only had two Americans (me and one other Captain).

Oh yea, BTW, In my book I point out that I am the inventor of what became a permanent Army acronym: MIST. We were thinking about how we were going to get a PSYOP team for Honduras approved by all the worry-warts in the clearance chain. I decided to change the name of the team from PSYOP to "Military Information Support Team" Who could be worried about a little mist?
