    Are you suggesting that we pick a few tribes that we like/favour based on our ideas of competence and morality, and that we support them? What if the tribes that we select don’t like each other? What if the ones we don’t select don’t like them either? It would appear to me that this has a potential to create more instability than it is ever likely to solve. I don’t think that we should be seen to be selective and to favour one over the other.

    The title of your post probably already suggests the difficulty of your suggestions:
