My son just left today for the green zone. I am sick to my stomach. I hear sleeping arrangements are in trailers.
Is this true of government officials. |

All things considered, the Green Zone is one of the safest places in Iraq to be. The only reason attacks there make the news so often is it is where the reporters are.

Most of your reporters never leave there because it is so safe. Like Cavguy said, if it is attacked, you always hear about it because the reporters are all there. I'll throw a few prayers out there for your son. Don't worry, he's in good hands and thanks for his service!
